You are correct about the major producers of diesel, now who are the major exporters? What is the price of heating oil? Doesn’t matter to me, I live in the south.
There is not a shortage of crude, there’s a shortage of refineries. Ukraine is destroying refineries and that raises the cost of diesel because it’s a global market. Nothing you or anyone else has anything that isn’t touched by diesel.

 

We are on Enbridge gas for heating, I pay $110 C$ a month, our hot water/ air is also on gas. As far as Ukrainians hitting Putin's war machine/ economy, the more the merrier.
