Not saying that at all. Just saying that this deep loathing you carry says more about you than it does him. I am not arguing the merits of armed conflict. I too have reservations about it. What I am specifically saying is that this loathing you and others of your camp carry is unhealthy and reflects on you. Not him. Unilaterally hating a human being is not natural. It is human nature to look for the good in humanity.... Unless of course it was pre-programmed out.... I can't call you a wife beater if my wife is at home bruised herself. If I did that it would be hypocritical now wouldn't it? Go back and look at my posts from 2020. I gave Joe a fair shake until he showed that he was in this for his own self enrichment at my expense. It was only then that I turned on him. You haven't given Trump a single fair shake. Not one. So again, I say to look inwardly. Be unilaterally fair. Across the board. Then you will have some merit.

I think some wars are just, problem is, many a time, when public opinion turned, the job was left "undone".

Best example was Korean War, McArthur wanted to finish liberating North Korea from the Commies (China) but Truman fired his best General. Had McArthur driven the Chinese out of the Northern Peninsula, then there would be no N. Korea today, with millions enslaved. And maybe US/ Allies could have destroyed Mao's murderous Regime. In Iran, the ONLY victory is annihilation of the Regime. Otherwise, you will have to go to war in 2-3 yrs again.
Another war, that must never be negotiated, but end with total victory for the "good guys" vs the Putin tyrannical regime, with Russian economical collapse.

 

Just holding on to this for when something else happens...
