How do you really feel about how things are going with the current 'leadership' ? Be honest with yourself and us.

 

I'll bite. I did two hitches in the Army beginning under Jimmy Carters term and subsequently under Reagan. The difference in the armed forces morale under Reagan's leadership was palpable. I reveled in it so much that I went on to serve a short stint in the Army color guard. So consequently I grew into a staunch conservative. I have never wavered from that though I did vote for Clinton's second term because I felt he was doing a good job economically. That said, I never stopped waving the red white and blue, regardless of who was at the helm. I do not buy into party fanaticism. Not even remotely and I strongly believe That this blind allegiance to party is decimating our nation from the inside out.

All that said, I'll directly answer your question. I am a businessman. My business has never been healthier. Trumps economic programs are working superbly. Any able bodied man that wants to work can work and that to me is the true mark of economic health. I don't care for the bluster and I do have reservations about the armed conflict with Iran though I refuse to voice them while young men and women are currently in harms way.

 

I am not American, I cheered for Trump both times vs Hillary and Karmala. He has done good things, but also dumb things. I am always objective.

Good things....
He brought back a lot of manufacturing jobs that went off shore.
He eased up on the "Green Agenda" cut red tape.
He modernized the armed forces
He cracked down on illegal immigration
He cracked down on crime, drugs.
He got NATO welfare cases like my Germany to smartin up, rearm turned the wimpish politically correct Merkel armed forces into the Merz proud and powerfull
wehrmacht reminiscent of 1933-45. Also Canada to 5% of GNP to defence.
Took out Maduro in brilliant "Otto Skorzeny" type operation, no body died.
Operation "Epic Fury" bring democracy and stability to Iran, region.

How do I feel?

Leadership in this nation sucks . . . And that is directed at the vast majority of self-interested, elected parasites on both sides of the aisle in DC.

Trump in particular, who you so obviously want this response focused on, I feel is an unrestrained blowhard who broadcasts bad messaging before making longer-considered, better-informed decisions.

Disagree all you want, but your reflexive ideological bent earns less respect than Trump does because he, at least, has the good sense to eventually soften his language, if not change his mind when he knows he's wrong.

Feeling pain in this Iranian conflict was inevitable. You see, the conflict itself was inevitable. What was not inevitable was the mass loss of American lives, but only because there was still the opportunity to take action. Trump did so . . . decisively, and timely. The pain we presently feel is far more palatable than the alternative, albeit un-delayed. Yes, we could wait, and perhaps avoid the pain ourselves, but amplify it for our progeny . . . much like the pain of kicking down the road our can of national debt.

If you don't die first, you'll eventually come to realize all of that, but I don't count on it because liberals are notoriously slow learners . . . not because they aren't smart, but because they are beholden to their indulgences, the avoidance of sacrifice, and the suppression of reason in favor of emotion.

Now, let’s return to leadership at large. Congress is one great big money sucking hole in the ground. Everyone owns responsibility for that . . . Me, my friends and family and yes, even your miserable displaced Canadian, liberal-voting arse! We ask for more bribery material from DC, and then we reward them with more power.

The sooner we stop asking for things we know we should be providing for ourselves, the sooner we can get back on track. If we all tell Congress that's what we want . . . if we stop asking for stuff, we'll be leading them instead of them leading us!

There . . . that's how I really feel!

But, Trump has many faults, his mouth is his greatest defect, but he also gets stuff done.
