I suggest the gentleman read The Federalist Papers and The Brethren, prior to using the words 'Ostensibly', 'politics', and 'policy', prior to asking others for thoughts. I do not detect any logic in asking others to opine, which is impossible to honor with a reply, when the words chosen are randomly used in a sentence requesting a thought about a subject that is non-existing.

The Case is submitted, and dismissed, with Prejudice.

So, what’s your point? If everyone gets 2K, great.

From any die hard liberal's perspective, if everyone gets $2K from Trump it's a bad thing . . . very bad!

That has been the ongoing comic relief.

I got over caring what liberals think a long, LONG time ago. If they hate Trump just for being Trump, well, too bad.

My read is that it's not a real proposal.

As you may know, the supreme court is currently considering a case that could take away his ability to set tariffs on a whim. The oral arguments the other day were pretty rough for him. Thus, my read on this is that he's doing a public pressure campaign to try to influence the supreme court to let him keep the extra power by making it popular.

The tariff rebate check idea was floated by the president earlier this year, July? I guess he was trying to sway SCOTUS then too.

Sway public opinion. As evidenced by there's been zero realization or progress since then

A SOLEMN VETERANS DAY to all.

The word HAPPY does not seem to fit presently, in my thoughts.

They marched all the veterans around the kids school while all the students lined the halls and cheered and waved flags. …. I’m so blessed to live in a community that values the sacrifice that others have made. These kids will be leaders one day and that gives me great hope for the future.

Kinda like the shutdown. Spurred by leftist ideology and propaganda that no one will be able to afford healthcare because of the nasty republicans and, not a penny will go to illegals and never has. Sway public opinion…? Result: No action, no progress.
The ACA was passed on the premise that it would reduce healthcare costs and availability. Was all that crap the left spewed then to sway public opinion? Result: Action, regression

Read the bill before you pass it should be the requirement for all congressional members. (Not pass the bill to see what’s in it). Understanding the facts of proposed legislation/proposals and the consequences thereof of said legislation/proposals, should be the responsibility of the electorate.
I’ll take the President’s musings any day before ACA.

So desperate to find a crumb of filth on the man….. Well it holds no water. Had anyone on the left had any inkling of looking into the glaring Biden crime factory then perhaps this would hold some merit. But that ship has long since sailed……. Let he who is without sun cast the first stone.

I feel Epstein talking to Maxwell about Trump spending hours with a victim is more than a "crumb"

When this all comes out, and it will, his legacy is going to only be "pedophile president."

I believe that legacy belongs to the old Child-Sniffer-in-Chief Joe Biden.

In fact, Slick Willie himself might have a few underaged girls mixed in with the many episodes in the back seat of his limo when he was Governor of Arkansas and he told State Troopers to look the other way. I wouldn’t doubt it since Slick spent a lot of time on Epstein’s Pedo Island

And I am every bit as concerned as I was over Bill and Monica. Hell, what’s the lefts concern? If we can do drag shows for babies then surely it’s alright to fondle young women isn’t it? Freaking upside down world is just plain nuts.

    Children, not "young women"

Just so we're clear on the issue you're trying to "both sides" away

Well where’s the moral high ground anymore? It is hard to find sympathy for the habitual wife beater when he finally gets assaulted…… I don’t know the details of the Epstein fiasco. Salacious content isn’t news to me. It wasn’t when Bill and Monica were headlines and it still isn’t. Again, I find a zero merit to accusations when all were silent during the Biden crime spree.
