When I refer to America hating Americans, this is why. I'll explain it.

When we think of the current administration as the evil in the world, that speaks volumes. In other threads Gypsy has called us civilian killers, there's so much more like it if you'll just read some of it's comments on this site. Blood thirsty greedy war mongers?

When you go on foreign soil and bash your country...that to me is America hating. When you say you have never been proud of your country, that to me is America hating. When you are part of the blame America left, that isn't enough? Did not the Obama's spiritual mentor himself say, and I quote:

GOD DAMN AMERICA ???

This last week, that creep ass skank Madonna put up pictures of McCain along side Hitler? Where is she now? She is in Camp Omaba. How many times have the leftys compared Bush to Hitler?

So lt me get this right Americans are not good citizens if they disagree with the way there country is been run?
Freedom of speach is ok as long as you do not say anything against the current administration?

So because someone is not proud of what there country is doing they are a Traitor or Hate America?
If you are abroad you must not speak ill of America!!

Now that last one reminds me a great deal of Stalin, Mao, Hitler etc check it out guy's they had dissadents overseas executed for daring to speak out.

Let me ask you all this are you all proud of every act that your country has carried out in your name?

I know full well that I am not proud of all the actions of my country I also disagree quit vehamently with a number of political policies this goverment is undertaking but that dont mean I love my country any the less, hell no it means I am willing to stand up and be counted.

For the record I have compared Bush to Hitler. Wanna know why? To piss people off.
Why would I do that? - because I got tired of a bunch of right wingers labeling ME as Nazi because I don't agree with Bush.

Backing a country and backing an administration are two entirely different things. Is this new somehow?
Today I picked up a few Hard Times Tokens. Yeah, dated 1837. Very political and very anti-administration. The right existed then should it not now?

Freedom of speech goes both ways as I understand it.
Labeling someone as an American hater is just another form of Freedom of Speech.

I don't agree with it but you have the right to say it.

 

The current administration has done much to label people as anti this, pro that, old Europe, new Europe, Freedom Kissing. We have not had an administration that has done so much labelling in a very long time. History is going to reflect on this last 8 years as a dumb time in America, when we were led by a fool that cannot speak or spell, whom had his strings pulled by the puppet master in chief, Big Dick Cheney. I don't remember any President before Carter, but this current turkey is even less popular than Carter. And I doubt he will redeem himself by going out after his presidency ends and do good things in the world, settle conflicts, build homes, oversee elections etc.

Bush is not a conservative, he is a stupid idiot that mystically got elected, and re-elected by the minority of voters, because most Americans are too consumed with more important things in life, like TV programmes etc.

I just hope, Liberal or Conservative, whomever gets elected has at least a few bulbs lit in the head.

 

Twist my words all you want, what I stated is simply that if you hear the word "evil" and you immediately associate it with the United States , you are not a good citizen. If you revel in every crisis or problem we encounter, you are not a good citizen.
Freedom of Speech isn't the real issue here, it's hatred for your country- much like Gypsy exhibits every time she sarts one of her rants.

 

You are not a true American until you are willing to give up all your freedoms for the good and security of the country to keep us safe from those "terrorists".

Whos twisting your words David certainly not me, you wrote them? If you do not allow people to disagree with your political view and to speak out then you have a tolitarian state it is realy that simple. How would you like it if your views were called treason and evil? Just because you do not have the same view point on a given subject dont make them evil or traitors that is what democracy is all about. When I hear the word evil I most certainly do not automaticly thing USA nor do the majority of those I know, yes some do but then some dont know a good beer from a bad one LOL.
The more you cry foul every time someone speakes in opposition the more there are who will do so.

But, to say he was relected by a minority really is hillarious. Bush in '04 received more votes than Reagan, and more votes than any President in the history of the nation.

Mr Biden is no longer welcome to take communion? ( I am not Catholic, so I dont know how serious that is ) and Madam Speaker Pelosi was B-slapped by several Bishops this week. What has Biden and Pelosi done to be so publicly humiliated by the Catholic church?

 

Apparently they must be blocked from taking communion in church, maybe because they are pro-abortion. Prominent Catholics can be targets of people in their church if they have views which are contrary to that of the doctrine of said church.

But back to Bush. The majority of the country does NOT vote. Perhaps it is better that they sit back in the trailer park and don't vote. They let the minority of us who give a $#!+ determine the fate of the country and even local politics. Three weeks ago we had a local election here for county supervisors etc., only 20% of registered voters voted. And the percentage of registered voters vs. eligible voters is very low. People here in my township gripe about property taxes, and assessments, but were they there to vote on them back on August 5th? Frankly I am stung by the Republicans for ever nominating that turkey in the first place. There were far more qualified candidates that got past over for the son of 41.

 

Sorry for the delay in my response. I had to do some research, and yep, my gut instinct was correct...Bush is not on the ballot in '08.

Just a word, though, on Freedom of Speech....Free speech is a wonderful thing but it certainly does give an indication of how/what you really believe. If I can make an analogy...If all you do is criticize your wife and revel in her shortcomings it won't be long before she starts to doubt your love for her...pretty soon the neighbors, friend & family will come to the same conclusion. Say what you want, it's your right to do it, but don't be surprised how it is perceived!!

 

An anolgy if you continualy critizise your wife in public she leaves you and takes the family silver with her LOL How about if you continualy call someone a Traitor just because they have the termerity to disagree with your perception of how a country should be run?

 

See this "traitor" comment is exactly what I'm referring to when I said "dense". I've never called anyone one a traitor...ever...and certainly not for exercising their right of Free Speech. I believe everyone should express their opinions if they don't, maybe especially if they don't, agree with what is happening. But, if you express your opinions you had better be prepared to have someone express theirs right back at you. Now do you understand? It's called "debate".

 

When he accused our military of "air raiding villages & killing civilians" that was an anti-American, anti-military statement made during a war when our troops need support...in my opinion he should have had treason charges brought against him .

Now David these are your words, to bring charges of treason against someone they must be a traitor He was using his right to free speach at this time even if you and I both happen to disagree with his words (Which by the way I do)

 

Not every utterance is protected under Freedom of Speech, but you knew that didn't you? A national figure, making statements, during a time of war that embolden our enemies and deflate the morale of our troops is certainly not protected, in my opinion.

Actually some of those were Obama's words! I still stand behind everything I said 100%!!

 

Check up on the Alien and Sedition Act of 1917, which effectively covered even non-public individuals in time of war.
