Another Heart-wrenching Loss

Each time this happens the “can we talk about gun control” crowd comes out….. Well, this time considering that once again we have a mentally disturbed person, can we circumvent the gun control talk and focus on the obvious? The disturbing trend of young adults that have been trained to be confused by the left and have fallen into a mental chasm? Please can we address the REAL problem here before it happens again?

 

I would love to, but the Left ONLY blames the guns. Honestly, I’ve tried having conversations with them, but they can’t get past the “guns bad” aspect. I’ve given up talking to them or trying to reason with them. They are too far gone.

 

I don't care how mentally ill someone is, they can't do this without the weapons.

I suppose a drunk driver couldn't wipe out an entire family if it weren't for the car. I suppose a teacher couldn't rape a student if it weren't for him teaching at the school. I suppose a wife couldn't kill a husband if it weren't for the rat poison. I suppose... well, you see where I'm headed with this.

Killers kill. It's what they do. When a killer is determined, he (or she) will find a way and a weapon (whatever that weapon might be).

 

Tell that to folks whose family members were stabbed to death, blown up or run down by cars.

You cannot have it both ways. There is an explosion in the trans community that correlates directly with the rise in these hideous crimes. Forget the narrative and look at the facts. Isn’t that what scientists proclaim to promote? The rise in the trans community correlates directly with the rise of far left progressivism. And with this normalization comes a cesspool of drugs that we do not know the long term affects of though I believe we are witnessing them….. Americans have been firearm owners since our inception but this rise in community wide mental health problems is new. Address the problem. Not the tool.

 

Because the rest of the planet is not pumping young minds full of drugs to change what genetics has preordained.

 

Yes, the U.S. does have a very robust civilian ownership of weapons. Many countries do. I am always amused by the for and against statements.

I always wonder how many persons compare registered vs. unregistered firearms in any locale.

Yes, again, the U.S. has the most Unregistered. No argument. However, explain Canada, Asia, Europe, etc. concerning Registered vs. Unregistered. Explain, and then explain the firearms crimes difference.

Of course the U.S. has "more" in the mentioned categories...there are more People.

So what is the difference? Isn't Unregistered firearms a serious category? If there is agreement, then explain how the U.S. is worse....maybe, just maybe, it is education, family values, Pride in self, Self Dignity, Self-Confidence and EDUCATION FAILURES, BOTH AT HOME AND IN FORMAL CENTERS OF LEARNING.

Just a suggested thought to ponder, for those that want to do so.

If not, proceed to continue to gripe and argue.

After doing so, tell me about support for Law Enforcement and Pride in Community.

I would appreciate not using the Poor as examples or Race as examples. Both fail the Logic test, when comparing other countries in the World.

That's dangerous scapegoating, and wrong. Of mass shootings far more are done by non-transgender people. In fact, given the proportion of mass shootings done by transgender people is less than the proportion of the population that is transgender, you could even make the arguement that being transgender is protective against committing mass shootings.

Or did you not want to actually look at facts?

 

I used the trans argument simply because that is the flavor of the day. So I went and did this your way. You want measurable results? I simply googled the rise in anti-depressant use and below is what I came up with…… We are pumping these young people with a cesspool of drugs and I can only imagine that a trans persons mix of drugs would stagger the mind. These kids are walking zombies pre-programmed by progressives to hate anything that is not part of the progressive ideology. Our kids are not only being propagandized. They are also being weaponized!

 

Facts....an interesting subject.

The weapons used were legally purchased by the owner that committed the crime.

The owner did not have any previous Record of crimes.

The owner was educated in the Catholic school and Church facility that he attacked.

The owner legally changed his name from a male to interpretive female identity when he was 17 and his Mother signed a Petition to change the name and a Judge approved the change.

A lot of things went up in that time period, a lot of things went down. It's irresponsible and wrong to assign causation based on that. I can't believe the RFK jr antidepressants line is already surfacing.

 

We have a mental health crisis. Rather than doing something about it, we are drugging the problem into submission. I have no dog in the fight and have no idea what the RFK reference is……. Allow me to be brutally frank. I have a 34 year old son. In first grade the school demanded, not requested…. They demanded we have him dosed with an amphetamine simply because he was a rambunctious kid. That led to a lifetime of prescription drug use of one kind or another. As a result, he is and always will be a troubled young man…. I have seen what prescription drug use does to young minds and it destroys them.

Gene, this IS our problem and the medical and pharmaceutical companies are willing accomplices. You will never convince me otherwise. Pharmaceuticals should be a very last resort, not the first…… But that isn’t very profitable now is it?

Interesting isn't it, that so few track mass killings without a gun? After digging, I found a pretty decent compiliation of such incidents, and it sure appears to dispell your argument as disingenuous, if not entirely hollow.

 

Adding an update to previous "facts" mentioned...the Mother is reported as being an administrative assistant employed at the school Note some reports stated she was a Teacher at the school.

 

Have you adjusted for the fact that less than 2/3 of 1% of the US population identifies as transgender.

 

Does it? They listed 126 incidents. It deoends on how you define it, but there's been 268 mass shooting incidents in 2025 alone

Yeah, compared to the 268 gun-related mass murders thus far in 2025, it's true that they only listed 126 non-gun mass murders.

It's also true that, while the most killed in any of the gun-related mass murders this year were 5, the fewest killed in the 126 non-gun mass murders listed in that link were 21.

No, being commonplace has absolutely nothing to do with not making the news. After all, if Trump slips up during some appearance, which is not at all unusual for him, it never, ever escapes the headlines.
