Anybody catch the Saddleback Forum??

If you missed it I encourage you to catch it on CSpan sometime this week- it painted a pretty stark contrast between Obama & McCain. Obama stuttered & stammered his way through his answers...he was either trying to avoid straight answers or was totally unprepared to answer the questions. I kept imagining Judge Judy saying "ummm is not an answer". It actually reminded me of Miss South Carolina answering her question at one of those beauty pagents last year...remember the "I believe USofA American citizens"...answer?
McCain on the other hand actually was quite impressive & I'm certainly no McCain fan. I even heard Andrea Mitchell on Meet the Press this morning accuse McCain of knowing the questions beforehand because his answers were so spot on.

 

Well you put a politician with over 25 years of experience against some guy with what 4-5 years at tops, and you can draw your own conclusions. I am not a fan of McCain either, but one has to ask themselves, experience or the unknown.

 

Yeah, I watched it. Pretty telling, I'd comment here but it is above my pay grade.

EDIT: It was interesting, Obama fumbled so much , McCain " did so well " that the O camp has accused McCain of cheating, knowing the questions in advance. There is trouble in camp O bigtime. This convention is going to be interesting.

 

No. These people are not the type people that just go to church and mind their own business. These are the people that want the rest of our damned souls to go only to THEIR church, with THEIR beliefs and they want to tell us how to live, eat, sleep, $#!+, and lastly how to vote. They are also the ones that want to influence how you vote for the person that will lead the country, be commander of the military, direct the Congress, influence financial markets, taxes etc. based on THEIR beliefs on abortion.

 

Obama is on the ropes! A Rueters poll showed Obama trailing by 6 points among "likely voters"...the polls that show Obama ahead don't distinguish among mere preference and the folks who are actually going to cast a vote.

YES, He is on the ropes, but McCain is not " in" at all. Long way to Nov, and neither can break 50% in the polls.

Clembo, Obama is hurting bigtime. He should be 20% up right now with all the favorable media, the world tour, the situation with the nation and Repo's in the Whithouse and all. This should be a lock Dem year by any stretch of the imagination, and O is trailing more and more by the day.

It's a loooonnnngggggg way to November tho.

 

I sure do...and so do his handlers apparently. Think about it, this Warren Forum was designed to let the voters know where each candidate stands on social issues- McCain did so well, relative to Obama, the Obama folks immediately said he was cheating. Cheating? By answering questions about your core beliefs? C'mon, even if McCain knew the questions beforehand that doesn't expain why Obama couldn't give a straight answer. Nuansed (sp?) answers? What does that mean? Face it, the wasn't told how to answer beforehand so his performance was pitiful. And the whole world saw it!!
I bet he has started to give strong consideration to letting Hillary be his Co-President instead of some of those other clowns that have been mentioned.

 

I think the scary part is that some 47? year old man can be bested in a debate by a 72 year old man whom has been accused of being senile. Senile my bum, that 72 year old has a 96 year old mother still spouting off about this and that, he may well follow her lead. At least he minds his mama, and chews his pretzels instead of trying to quaff them whole.

 

And course Obama knows how many homes he has without saying he will have to ask his staff LOL That was McCains latest But then again McCain is 72 so can be forgiven for these lapses of memory

 

Most of the McCain homes are occupied by Cindy McCains elderly relatives or children. We cannot say the same about Obama, who's siblings live in huts without plumbing and electricity. I am glad to see the McCains caring for family actually, and not leaving them to wither in poverty........

Also, I am pretty sure, but not positive, that the McCains real estate partners are not in prison convicted of felonys.

McCain has handed Obama the Presidency

McCain has managed - out of his own mouth - to hand the Presidency to Obama.

• Four, no, Seven (or maybe Eight or even Ten) houses?
• Income of $5,000,000 is middle class.
• Has now stated he doesn't even know what kind of car he drives

All this while:

• Home foreclosures are at a record high - not seen since the Great Depression
• Wages are stagnant or declining
• Prices on everyday goods are climbing dramatically

Face it, McCain has no clue what day to day life is like for the average American. And he has absolutely zero interest in finding out. That anyone would vote for this wretched excuse for a candidate absolutely boggles the mind.

Thankfully, his cluelessness has been picked up by the traditional media for a change. I'm more than pleased to see not only the national media covering this, but also a huge response turning up on local news programs as well. 'Bout frickin' time!

So, as we all wait to see who our next VP is going to be, I'll be going into lurk mode. It'll be fun to watch some folks' heads spin and their carefully constructed house of cards come tumbling down around them.

I'll be back on November 5th to gloat and issue a resounding "I TOLD YOU SO!!!"

Attacking McCain for being successful is sure reaching, isn't it? What kind of example does that set for folks who are trying to succeed? But success is contrary to everything the Libs preach, right? "Stay in the handout line & keep voting Democrat"..."Why work when we will support you"..."Look at those wealthy people with the nice houses, nice cars...don't you just despise them?"
Simple case of promoting class warfare. Try this: Honor one's success and use it as motivation to others.
