    Something must be working.
Fuel dropped from 3.19 (and 3.09 @a few stations) per gallon overnight, to 2.79 (and 2.88 @a few stations).

With 30 cents credit from the grocery store, fuel was 2.49/gal today.

As to the Canada huffing and puffing with the exported electricity tariff increase, please pardon me while I don't care. Minnesota, Michigan and NY.

Remind me again...are those Democrat or Republican States? I wonder why their clean green energy stuff is not working out. Must be that cheap Canada electricity costing less....or...a simple case of the Canada PM not realizing which States are Democrat. DUMAZZ. Oh well, send that wood to them for fuel. I am fairly certain plenty of U.S. Trees will be available for harvesting in the near future.

How about that new Canada PM....Liberal? Gee, tough guy.

Truth in editing: added a "(" for clarity . Shaadapp and leave me alone.

    How bout' them Mets?

    Truth in editing:
Just realized I made a "Carney" and left out one of these: "t". I don't want anybody sated with my stupidity.

    So there.....

    24% CARBON TAX:mad:
Yea Liberals selected a new leader. It will be shortlived, Polievre will win election and "axe" the tax + all other Trudeau gaffs. Mark Carney destroyed UK economy when Governor of Bank of England. He is a Greta Thunberg fan which = disaster.

    Exactly my posit point.

The Exchequer called him an economic Typhoid Mary.

A prominent U.S. Statesman called him Art's stupid brother. I thought that was apt.

Well, that huffing and puffing is over...seems Ford took some Albuterol, I guess....
...OR..... Canada likes the metals they get from us (that they then send to Mexico for the factories and then sell back to us.... and let us not forget the Canada sleight of hand when discussing stainless S4S, not to mention shipping "missing" aluminum weight differentials that mysteriously emerge in Asia (I didn't know Aluminum also had the capacity to swim).

Carney will likely call a snap election next week, Liberals think thats their best chance of winning. Just two months ago, they were behind by 30 points in most polls. The Liberals will make the next election about Trump as the boogeyman, and that Pierre Polievre is the Canadian "Trump" The Liberals will want voters to forget about the housing shortages, the high cost of everything, rampant crime, drug epedemic, inaction on building pipelines, bad monetary policies, their green agenda which failed miserably. Also state of military due to neglect, failure to meet NATO commitments. Trudeau doubled the debt in past nine years, dollar slide to $1.45 =1US$. In 2012 under Con. Govt. $1 can= $1.12 US on plus side. Trudeau was a one man disaster.

Being from the Duck-n-Cover-Russia is the Boogieman Generation makes it difficult for me to look at this issue without childhood prejudices creeping in.

Looks like Trump just checkmated Putin:cool: Ukraine accepted US Peace Deal. So, now if Putin & Lavrov decide to play hardball/ Trump just said, we will hurt them badly:D Also military hardware is again flowing to Ukraine via Poland/ also intelligence. NATO peacekeepers will enforce Russian compliance in air/ land/ sea. Meanwhile Russian hardliners want to continue War. On another matter, a cargo ship under Portuguese flag, Russian captain struck a US tanker with aviation fuel, Captain arrested by Brits.
