Megyn Kelly explains the lopsided debate very well. Not a long watch to see/hear her explain......

That was so easily noticed, yet so few mention it.

Kamala avoided answering that question as if it would sink her candidacy all by its lonesome . . . which it likely would.

I had no idea that the ABC news head was family friends with Harris.... That explains the entire tenor of last nights onslaught.

This is rare, so all members record and save my reply to GW:
    I concur with the "LOL".

He could have...he could have voiced displeasure in a targeted manner that addressed her personality pandering, and yes he was exasperated by the lack of decorum and childish Sophomore commentary of the moderators.

BUT, Past POTUS Trump knew where and what the Field of Battle that he would be entering would be like.

He was NOT prepared. The issues that were and are in his favor, were presented to the audience in a haphazard manner; not connected, not articulated, and mumbled without any clarity or meaningful impact.

The closing statement was a better connection of the issues that he had fumbled during the debate process, however, it was to late and unimpactful to his overall presentation.

    He knew better.

My opinion: Past POTUS Trump blew it, and failed the AIT Individual Proficiency Test, and will now be assigned to the Fatboy Platoon for recycling.

He damn well better get with the program in the next 4-6 weeks, if he wants to turn this around.

AND, HE BETTER STOP WITH THE SELF PITY PARTY!
SO NOT EVERYBODY LIKES YOU. BIG DAMN DEAL. SHUT UP AND FIGHT, BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING ON MY NERVES.

Well, that’s one way of putting it. I, on the other hand, believe President Trump did a fine job. He was up against a liar and he tried his best to call her out even though the ultra-liberal moderators were covering for her. He was in a den of wolves and he held his own. Lesser men would have crumbled.

I certainly understand your thoughts and partially concur.

The issue, to me, is a Commander that knows the territory and obstacles prior to engaging, AND prepares accordingly, without EMOTION, will have the historical advantage, especially when the Commander has experienced similar Field of Battle events.

THAT is when the Troops have a high level of confidence.

Past POTUS Trump allowed the fight to EMOTIONALLY defeat him.

    He blew it.

He most certainly did not do his best. The most important thing he could have done, and did not, was to point out that Harris was not answering the questions, and was instead using the time to sell soft commitments, lacking any specifics.

He should have first answered the questions for himself, and then answered them from her perspective so the audience would understand what she and TMBTC are hiding from The People.

I wonder if it occurs to anyone at ABC news today that they have so compromised their integrity that it could truly be decades before they are recognized as a legit news organization again.

I think that happened quite a while back when they became Mickey Mouse News . . .

Granted, anyone hoping that Trump would have obliterated Kamunala they way he obliterated briben would have been disappointed. She's slick, but without substance. In another venue besides a left-leaning media outlet like ABC, she would have been called out for her lies by the moderators. But, she was allowed to spew her lies and not get checked on them. Sure, that inflicted damage on Trump by being attacked by three instead of one, but it is what it is. Perhaps he didn't do his best, as you say, but he certainly did well enough under the circumstances. What happened to that whole "mute the microphones" thing? She was able to interrupt him and the moderators didn't put a stop to it. The entire debate was skewed deeply in her favor and, given that fact, he did very well compared to what he was up against.

I just learned something quite interesting about Disney and ABC. Apparently, Mickey’s overstayed his welcome and he is now being replaced as the Disney mascot by a character named Figment. I couldn’t have chosen a better replacement myself.

Figment News is just as fitting as was Mickey Mouse News!

I liked the part where she dog walked him with the most low hanging bait into wasting the first 20 seconds of every answer taking said bait.

And that is what is important given the state we are in? Style over substance? No question, Kamala won the style war.

Keep in mind this was the very 1st question before any moderator biased surfaced.

"Are you better off now than you were four Years ago?" - A primary Trump Campaign talking point.

Harris answers with a memorized highly polished scripted response delivered as if she was reading a teleprompter. - Another primary Trump campaign talking point. Her response was virtually just a regurgitation of a Harris for President campaign commercial. Only thing missing in her remarks was "I am Kamala Harris and I approved this message"

And even after all the above she didn't even answer the question asked. She ducked, dodged, danced around and hid from the question asked. - Again another primary Trump Campaign talking point.

If even she can walk all over him like that, don't you think other bad actors of the world will do the same to him? It really demonstrated his weakness.

    Really?

    REALLY?

Then logically, YOU concur with members that are of the opinion SHE is inferior to Past POTUS Trump.

See how that "gotcha" thing works?

You do have a nasty demeaning habit of carrying it to extremes, though, and is why you are dismissed as a serious responder to the majority of subjects discussed on PL, and ridiculed.

When a supposedly educated person posts in the habitual method of communication you choose....i.e. simply to be a condescending and illogical and exceedingly illogic Socialism persona (and I think it is a con, btw), projecting with the sole purpose of irritating the members and bringing attention to your "I Am Here" act, you have wasted your life and education.

    Clown.

It is my understanding Matt Gaetz was the head coach of Trump's debate prep team. Maybe it is time to put him in the seat next to Bill Napier.

That argument may hold water had he not had a previous resume that illustrates otherwise.

Oh, I can think of one angle that no one seems to have recognized.

A mere technicality, mind you, but one which the Democrats may have taken full advantage of, given their penchant for leaving no devious, opportunity-covering stone unturned.

During the intro, David Muir said, ". . . no topics or questions have been shared with the campaigns."

    I find that believable.

Considering the past machinations of the Democrats, I could also believe that the questions were fed to the moderators by the Harris campaign.

What more perfect way to put the media's thumb on the scale while being able to truthfully state that it did not provide Harris with the questions?

Yeah, I distrust the mainstream media, and with good reason . . . they are not in the mainstream.
