CIA: Osama Helped Bush in '04

On Oct. 29, 2004, just four days before the U.S. presidential election, al-Qaeda leader Osama bin-Laden released a videotape denouncing George W. Bush. Some Bush supporters quickly spun the diatribe as "Osama's endorsement of John Kerry." But behind the walls of the CIA, analysts had concluded the opposite: that bin-Laden was trying to help Bush gain a second term.

According to Suskind's book, CIA analysts had spent years "parsing each expressed word of the al-Qaeda leader and his deputy, [Ayman] Zawahiri. What they'd learned over nearly a decade is that bin-Laden speaks only for strategic reasons. …

"Their [the CIA's] assessments, at day's end, are a distillate of the kind of secret, internal conversations that the American public [was] not sanctioned to hear: strategic analysis. Today's conclusion: bin-Laden's message was clearly designed to assist the President's reelection.
"At the five o'clock meeting, [deputy CIA director] John McLaughlin opened the issue with the consensus view: 'Bin-Laden certainly did a nice favor today for the President.'"

McLaughlin's comment drew nods from CIA officers at the table. Jami Miscik, CIA deputy associate director for intelligence, suggested that the al-Qaeda founder may have come to Bush's aid because bin-Laden felt threatened by the rise in Iraq of Jordanian terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi; bin-Laden might have thought his leadership would be diminished if Bush lost the White House and their "eye-to-eye struggle" ended.

....the CIA analysts also felt that bin-Laden might have recognized how Bush's policies - including the Guantanamo prison camp, the Abu Ghraib scandal and the endless bloodshed in Iraq - were serving al-Qaeda's strategic goals for recruiting a new generation of jihadists......

.....One immediate consequence of bin-Laden breaking nearly a year of silence to issue the videotape the weekend before the U.S. presidential election was to give the Bush campaign a much needed boost. From a virtual dead heat, Bush opened up a six-point lead, according to one poll........

3. The testimony of the FBI:

a) The FBI "Mosted Wanted" terrorist poster on Bin Laden does not show that he is "wanted" for 9/11. http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/fugitives/laden.htm

b) and here is what they have stated:

“The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.”

The FBI is well informed of the video (proves Muckraker Report), but, nonetheless, still considers that there is "no hard evidence" to connect Bin Laden with 9/11. Thus again, the video cannot be considered said evidence.

There is therefore no sustainable evidence except politically-convenient allegation and propaganda, to make such a false and spurious claim. This also kills the idea of Al Qaeda which they claim also was connected directly with Bin Laden. The BBC documentary "Power of Nightmares" documents that Al Qaeda was "an invention" of the U.S. government, and that videos of Bin Laden "were faked for the western media", with "militants" called in for the purpose.

A scientist friend of mine with his own website has just vanished along with all of his work. There may be some simple explanation to this, but I know the worst has happened. I already know nobody ( 5 or 6 of u guys)in here will change their mind or opinion for what its worth( except tom). Not that im trying to change anyones mind. I just thought you might want to hear some inside info., or another educated opinion. I have been studing this world stuff since I was seven.( 30 years). I have seen a few things to. It has had me obsessed for so long. The more I learn, the scarier it gets, & how soon it will take place. I wish I would have been obsessed with something else, or nothing at all. Being slightly disabled with Fibromyalgia leaves me with a lot of time on my hands. & I cant do a whole lot without being medicated, & that has its drawbacks. The puzzle is almost complete..

I do the rollyeye thing every time I hear another conspiracy theory but if one of these things ever, ever turns out to be true, you'll get the last laugh. There are enough things in this world that are scary enough without worrying about the things that are never going to be proven true or false anyway.
