No matter how good or how bad it is on Nov 7...

Let's all promise not to make fun of our three "friends" that keep pitching soft balls at us due to their continued ignorance and refusal to become informed. Thankfully, the election should show that very many of their ilk are no longer ignorant. They realize that after voting for democrats to destroy our history, language, and customs (just as Michael said they would do), and surprise - our boarders, economy, energy, national security, and the security of the world, they came to their senses and are trying to stop it.

Unfortunately, I fear it is too late but we need to try. The next few years are going to be the worst that most of us have ever experienced. The only bright side for me is our ignorant three friends are going to suffer with us.

 

Normally I wouldn't be so vindictive but the stakes truly are high.

I wonder if the three are exactly who I recall. This is my first thread returning in a while. Hope to be back as life winds down.... (or doesn't!)

 

Hey, how've you been? It's been a while. What's life been like for you?

 

Busy, as well as stressful. Just have been busy with working, college, having my own place, and more. I haven't even been doing much by way of coins - so the situation clearly was dire.

 

It’s a part of growth. We all go through that when we set out on our own. I believe the future will look bright for you. Just don’t allow yourself to get bogged down in the “now”.

As for the spirit of the thread, I have no intention of wagging my finger at anyone. I only hope that we can change the national narrative if we do have a red wave. I’m sick to death of the negative storylines. That isn’t what America stands for.

 

Well …… I just did my part to change this caustic environment. My vote has been cast.

I voted today also. The spirt in the line was jist like it was in 1994 when I lived in TN. Happy, Happy, Happy!

 

I don’t buy into polls. I been voting every election since the mid-1980’s and never once been polled…. I also don’t take all my information from any one source and I am seeing a lot of sources confirming a national feeling that we are all tired of the condescension. We are tired of the twists and turns our leaders make to be able to tell us with a straight face that everything is coming up roses. And we are all tired of the war on middle America. The core that is the engine of this nation…… I wouldn’t say this is as much a red wave as it is a war on lunacy. Stop spending money. Stop the war on energy. Stop confusing children over their genitalia. Stop the insanity.

Once our left leaning friends return to the forum, rest assured that they will comfort themselves saying these are typical results for a mid-cycle election. But rest assured…. If Tuesday’s results are as they appear they will be, this is an outright rejection of all the lunacy that has been imposed on middle America these last two years. May we never return to this hell.

 

We'll see how it goes. To be totally transparent, a couple weeks ago I was feeling confident, but a week is an eternity in politics. Just gut feelings, but it seems like momentum has been slowed a little while. Still, no way of knowing exactly how things will turn out until Tuesday. Even 48 hours can make a difference.

 

You are right. The average persons attention span these days goes no further than the last cute meme. But there is just far too much rubbing against the grain that culminated this week with all the Democratic leadership claiming that democracy is at peril in this election. That was a slap in the face to every American with a functional brain. Those that have been lulled into believing we are functioning in some sense of normalcy were awakened by that verbal misstep. Absolutely the most inane thing ever uttered by a politician that had everything and squandered it….. These last two years have been a war on everything this nation was built on and Tuesday it ends.

 

Hopefully. Don’t underestimate the stupidity of the electorate.

I was in absolute shock the morning after the 2016 election. Like a joke was being played. The reality TV guy? Really? That's who y'all want? Sheesh.

First thing I did that morning was walk into work and listen to this song. A bush era anthem more applicable than ever

 

Gene, Tey are already reporting about fuel shortages in several stats. This in online chat rooms from folks who cannot get it for their trucks and homes. Who do you think they will vote for.

Biden and his handlers are in the pocket of our enemies - you live with them. His administration is responsible for the fuel crisis, rising inflation, high food prices (and they are goin up) open boarders, etc. Bet you didn't know that we cannot get some commonly used antibiotics now either. This is going to be the worse next few years that most of us have gone thru. When our own FBI is involved along with the press and commie subversives in the government we are toast and China will rule the world! You'll like that.

I am listening to political feeds today..... I am just stunned at some of this steaming manure I am hearing piled up today. This sounds like desperation to me.... The last election of our lives.... Give me a break.
