Just a dramatized retelling of pages 7-30. The affadavit was more concerned with the fact Trump's counsel said they would secure the documents and did not once it was discovered they had more. So I added in the detail about Trump's lawyer signing a statement they had returned all classified material a few months ago Also for fun I added Trump's message from today admitting to storing classified material at mar-a-lago still, which was the basis of the search and seizure.
Here is a "pat on the back" for you @JoeNation because you claim I "am always attacking." I am amazed you are able to retain so much information, then generate the synapses necessary to create a post of such length and egalitarian detail. I must admit my ability to wax as eloquent as you pales in comparison and I can think of only one way to equal your talent and that would be called plagiarism.
The contents of the affidavit? Do you mean that highly-censored, non-transparent piece of trash the DOJ won't let the American people read? Where is the transparency in this administration? I agree with redacting the names of agents, but release the God--edited affidavit in its entirety already!!
Don't worry, you'll get to read it when charges are filed and it's submitted during discovery. In the meantime, there was plenty there to understand the legal motivations behind the search warrant.
I like how you see yourselves as the victims here. If mouthing idiotic demands were an art, you'd be frigging Picasso. You know damn well why the DOJ can't release the road map to the investigation. You also know damn well why this has nothing to do with Biden. This is Trump's doing exclusively. You just can't fault him in any way because well, Dear Leader and all. The truth is that you have crowed endlessly that people like Hillary Clinton should be incarcerated for far, far less than Trump has admittedly already done. You clearly reap what you sow. I guess in the end, you won't learn anything anyway, so sucks to see your own behaviors come back to bite you in the a$$ but I believe that there is a bright spot, for you anyway. I don't believe Trump will ever find himself behind the bars he so richly deserves because he'll either die of a massive fast food induced heart attack or he will be allowed to walk away "for the good of the country". F- that BS! Put him away for the good of national security. He'd sell his own mother for a Happy Meal.
OK, let's boil this crap down. 1 Trump removed documents upon leaving the White House. 2 Contact with Mar-a-Lago about the return of documents. 3 Meeting held at Mar-a-Lago resulting in the voluntary release and removal of some documents.* 4 Additional lock requested and installed. 5 Based upon previous visit, a raid ensued to obtain the remainder of the documents.** 6 Also seized were memos, personal correspondence, attorney/client privileged documents plus any other scrap of paper that could be found. * Why were some documents left? ** Why were the remaining documents not taken during the first meeting?
Because Trump and team didn't give them to the agents or say they existed. They said they had 12 boxes for pickup, then gave 15. There wasn't a search at the first meeting, they just showed up to the front door and picked up the provided materials. The correct question is why didn't Trump give them everything?
I am donating 2 Dimes to the thread. Give them to the clowns, so they can call their Mom and explain they did not make it.
lol so I'm not allowed to use other sources that lawyers have gone through because I must "have my own original thoughts" but I also can't use my own opinion because I don't have a law degree... real catch 22 that. Sounds like you guys just want to be able to bury your heads in the sand peacefully.
Since we were not there, how do you know what dialog actually took place during the first meeting. A review of the first shipment must have taken place in the "basement" for the request to add another lock to the door(s), so obviously they knew there were additional documents. Did they thumb through them and purposely leave important papers as a basis for a return "raid"? It would not surprise me. Obama was reported to have trucked more than 3,000,000 documents to Chicago, Clinton destroyed 30,000 emails and appropriated many items from the White House, some of which were returned. I wonder how many of America's White House Treasures she kept.
You left out the fact that a president (unlike, for example, a Secretary of State....) can classify or declassify documents as he sees fit. Liberals clamoring for a jail sentence have offered no proof, absolutely NONE, that President Trump didn't declassify these documents. He could do so on a whim.
I love the term "beclowning". It really summarizes the behaviors of the people here that will defend anything, I mean anything, this guys does.
Source? What about June 3? If this was of upmost importance due to national security, why the delay? Incompetence?
Are you creating your own dictionary? I could only add more negative assessments. Why have you not posted more plagiaristic comments? I should think you would respect the sources of your contributions to this forum and list them.
