Ketanji Brown Jackson

I didn’t hear enough war coverage today listening to her introductory statements and questions. She is a very well spoken young lady and seems to be very grounded…… I am proud that no republicans asked her about college keg party’s or wet t-shirt contests and hope they have set the standard going forward on how a justice nominee should be respected. And I am not proud that Lindsay Graham is my representative. Not proud at all.

 

I didn't see any of the testimony, yet. I fact that I wasn't aware it was going on, that's a credit to the low level of political hyperbole. From the little I've read, she's not an Originalist.

What did Lyndsay do now?

 

The man is just such a self consumed blowhard. Always and I mean always on the podium of political theatrics and I been watching it first hand for a bunch of years….. He had no interest at all in allowing Judge Jackson respond to anything. He frequently interrupted or spoke over her. Apparently at some point Judge Jackson was appointed council over some Guantanamo terrorist prisoners and Lindsay went all over the top bloviating about the prisoners. In short, Lindsay wasted thirty minutes of everybody’s time today but made damn sure we knew who he was.

 

Glad I missed it. Everyone knows how they're going to vote...from her judicial record. It sounds like he was showboating for the cameras. The other day he was calling for someone to pop a cap into Putin. That seems just a tad irresponsible for a Congressional Leader.

 

If Ketanji Brown Jackson may have raped me back in the late 1980's, who would I talk to about this? Diane Feinstein?

I'm not sure if it was Jackson. I seem to remember going to a party with her back in the 80's and she got very aggressive. Almost as if she had "minority privilege" or something. It may not have been her after all. It's been over 30 years ago. I'll see if I can find some witnesses from the party.

The Republican questions are straight out of lunacy land. "What percent Christian are you on a scale from 1 to 10?" WTF!

 

From what I've seen, she's a Woke Jurist who believes in a "Living Constitution". My vote is "Nay".

 

The walls of my dentist's office have pictures of the mouth. My cardiologist's office has pictures of the heart. My pulmonologist's office has pictures of the lungs. My proctologist's office has a picture of Lindsey Graham. Just sayin'.

I may have mentioned this before, but a few years ago a friend and I were joined up with another 2-some (man and wife) for a round of golf. This couple just retired from New Jersey to Maryland (for the lower taxes ).

By about the 3rd hole, I found out that this guy was Cory Booker's High School Principal! We had a LONG conversation about Mr. Booker. According to this guy (a Democrat), Booker is a total Tool!

 

We all have opinions, but in the 2 areas you state, the facts are not in your favor.

 

They aren't? She gave an 18 year old with sexual imagery featuring nude girls as young as 8 year old, 3 months, less than both suggestions, and the request of the prosecutors. She said he was literally owning images of his "peers" and that he was "curious"

As a 19 year old - I'm proud to state that I do not consider 8 or 9 year old girls to be anywhere near the sexual competency I am at.
