@Mopar Dude you keep doing what you are doing, You are making an actual difference and there are people who are very grateful for that.
A while back, PBS had a 2 hour special on race separation in the early to mid 20th century. It was entirely the result of infectious disease. Even today, the MSM tried to downplay it, but COVID-19 spreads more rapidly in the black community...not the Asian, or Histpanic communities...but the black communities. "A Commonwealth Fund analysis from April showed that confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths were disproportionately higher in communities with larger Black populations." https://www.commonwealthfund.org/pu...MI6umBk7j48gIVhgaICR32PgPGEAAYASAAEgJEOvD_BwE I'm not passing judgement one way or the other...but to say the segregation was the result of "evil white people" is ridiculous. That was just their way of dealing with the pandemics of their day. They were scared.
No I don’t and I never have. I simply am done with your ilk looking down your hypocritical nose at me and leveling blatantly false statements at me.
I cannot agree more. It is the point of this thread in fact. I do stand by my conservative principles. I do not abide in being lumped in with the hideous groups that are repeatedly called out. It is just nuts.
I don't think that you'd be so animated and angry if you didn't actually believe that there is some truth to the stereotype that you are railing against. You are not a bigot and I have never burned a flag but that doesn't mean that there aren't folks on either side that haven't done exactly that. There is truth at the base of just about any stereotype. It is only when we generalize those stereotypes to everyone else that we fail to see reality for what it really is. On the other hand, there are usually good reasons for stereotypes even if they fail the all inclusive test under the microscope of scrutiny. You would be completely wrong to surmise that your circle of conservatives do more work than anyone else to improve the lives of strangers. That is not only a gross stereotype broadly painted by self-interest and ego, it is self-delusional besides. I know this because you have absolutely no way to prove such a claim. You simply assume it for your own self-satisfaction. The people that run their mouths off the loudest on either side are usually the most inept, least informed, and clueless people in the public square. I simply dismiss them since they add nothing to the public discourse but verbal diarrhea and vitriol. I certainly don't let them get under my skin. They may think they are having the final word but what they don't know is that their words wash away easier than chalk on a sidewalk on a rainy day. They only have the power to control what you let them control. But back to my first sentence. You seriously don't see white supremacists groups having a Renaissance under the Trump Administration? You don't see a predominantly white faced crowd of politicians in any GOP group photo? You don't notice that at any Trump rally minorities are harder to find than Waldo? You didn't hear Trump tell the Proud Boys to stand by? You didn't see video of the January 6th riot where the N word got thrown around liberally at black Capital police? You never considered this country's long, long history of racism especially in the south? All these things give the perception that racism is more than tolerated in the GOP, it is cultivated to appeal to a large share of the base. While not all in the GOP can properly be called racists or bigots, there does seem to be enough of them that are willing to look the other way which is collaboration at the least or silent consent in the end. If you refuse to acknowledge this aspect of your own party, don't be surprised if you get lumped in with the rest of them in spite of your own beliefs. It's going to happen. If you are as hard working as you believe you are, do something about your conservative circle and I'll do something about my circle. Once you get it right on your side, feel free to tell me what I am doing wrong. It would carry much more weight than just complaining about what the other side sees you as.
Trumpterbation. You are doing it wrong, because otherwise, you would be satiated after 1 ejaculation every hour. Creepy sexual deviation gratification thing you have going, there. Nothing wrong with that (hair on your knuckles yet?).
I have given this a lot of thought and I have began to type several messages that I have erased. I’ll just say this……. My favorite word in the English language is “inspire”. I make it my mission to try to offer inspiration to everyone I meet, even if it is in the tiniest way. And I believe it behooves us all to offer inspiration when we speak on these message boards. Shouting down to all that do not see the world through your eyes does not accomplish anything meaningful. Rather it only solidifies the position of the person you are speaking down to…… And this quite literally defines what is wrong with our lawmakers and all of our personal interactions today……. Yes, I voted for Trump. Yes, in the end the man was deeply embarrassing to me. I took ownership of it so let’s move on. Let’s offer something of substance and inspire one another for a change. Heaven knows the constant accusations, name calling and denigrating one another haven’t gotten us anywhere.
Oh Charley. You are so confused. You are the one that trumpsterbates and you also call people child. That's way creepy. Do you Trumpsterbate to pictures of him as a child?
Unfortunately shouting down and denigrating others has been proven to work s0 it will continue. The loudest and most animated have gotten what they want, so why stop? I admire your position of offering inspiration and there needs to be more of that.
"Hideous" is subjective. As long as a person doesn't break a law, they're free to be as "hideous" as you may think they are. That goes for everyone. People aren't bound by law to "like" or interact with each other. America is a society and economy based on Liberty and Mutual Assent.
