No one is equating an economic recession to Death, but you. Can you please describe the "threat" you would have everyone alter their lives for? What's the threat? ...that your insurance rates might go up $10/month? We're all on a run-away train that's heading straight towards a stone mountain and we can't get off. The only thing we don't know is...how far away the mountain is. For me, it's within the next 20 years (if I'm lucky). I'm an Eagle Scout and always leave my campground better than I found it. I think that goes for life, too. We can't let a bunch of greedy criminals lead us down the primrose path of socialism.
I asked you to describe what elderly means. a good percentage of the deaths are people in their 50's, but I did post about a guy in his late 20's who died and left a wife and kids. You said we should protect the elderly. So do people 50 and older get to stay isolated and paid? how were you going to protect nursing homes? and all those with comorbidities. you don't have any answers.
As I understand it, vaccinations protect against the reaction to the virus, but not the virus itself. Meaning, vaccinated people still catch the virus, but their reactions are quite mild. However, vaccinated people carry the same viral load as unvaccinated people. Therefore, vaccine "passports" make no sense at all. People younger than 50 die in automobile accidents every day, but we still allow people to drive. Everyone who wants a vaccine has gotten it. At this point, who are we protecting? ...besides maybe the Teacher's Union?
you're moving the goalposts. we WERE discussing whether the lockdowns and masking saved lives. Now you're moving to post double vaccinations era. if you're just worried about the economy, the vaccinations are free, but a covid hospitalization could be 30k to 200k. someone has to pay for that. charge it to the unvaccinated. I would have SWORN Christ taught us to care for one another and especially those neediest of all. That they tell us to ignore science and logic and just ''trust God'' when the ''do nothing'' act has killed half a million Americans, I'd go with the science that has shown it works. This attitude that some can thwart all the efforts of others to avoid infection because of their ''freedom'' is insane. Causing harm to others out of spite doesn't seem worthy of consideration.
So I was right...this is about insurance rates (tsk, tsk). Btw, I thought we were discussing Fauci's "Science Experiment"...
Christ's words are a guide for how to live our daily lives. There's nothing in the Bible about ruling the World.
I didn't say "it was about" this. You're the one who was concerned with the economy. It was one sentence describing the costs.
you're the one who said people should die for the economy. when you a lie a lot it gets hard to keep track I guess.
Fauci's wife is the head of the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center?! That explains A LOT!!!
You underestimate the power people in these positions have. con·spir·a·cy /kənˈspirəsē/ noun a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful. I'm sure they don't believe they're doing anything unlawful...since they are the law. They probably also feel they are serving a "greater good". I'm sure they don't see this as a conspiracy at all. Just like Dr. Mengele.
" No one is equating an economic recession to Death, but you. Can you please describe the "threat" you would have everyone alter their lives for? What's the threat? ...that your insurance rates might go up $10/month?" you're confused again. "people die in traffic accidents and we still let em drive ya know" this was also your answer to covid. "People younger than 50 die in automobile accidents every day, but we still allow people to drive. " I'm glad you aren't in charge of anything
I was rephrasing what you had said...and I specifically said "No one is saying that, but you". My references to auto accidents is to put COVID in to historical perspective. We can't lock people in cages to prevent death..."to discover they had not lived". That goes back to the Thoreau reference.
