Funny, for all of Trump's bellicose pronouncements about Afghanistan, all he ended up doing after four years is signing a peace agreement with the Taliban and promised that we would be out of Afghanistan by spring which conveniently meant he didn't have to do anything. You're just happy that Trump didn't have the courage of his convictions. Now you get to throw barbs at the one guy that actually showed the courage to do what had to be done. When he received what was to be the last question from the Fox representative, I hurt and mentally beamed the instruction to simply state "Yes, I am the President, and I accept all responsibility for the death of any member of the Military, because I am the Commander in Chief. I am going now to the Oval Office to call their families individually". AND THEN STAND STRAIGHT AND LEAVE THE STAGE. In other words, BE PRESIDENTIAL, DAMNIT!!! Don't be Wilson.

The moment he started talking about the previous administration and time lines and who did what and who didn't do what, I had an AFib reaction. I was watching my President collapsing in front of the World Stage. I am very sad about this incident.

 

That too struck me sideways. I didn’t like hearing Trump when he would talk about the mess he inherited…. The buck stops with me, BUT…… This does not project strength. And yeah, standing there slumped shouldered projected exasperation and defeat. His handlers need to do some coaching.
