You guys are supposed to be holding the moral high ground of those that claim to be accepting and loving of all, aren’t you? Hhmmmmmm….
your only hope is to play games like shutting down the mail system and disenfranchising non whites sad
Lol...this country (everyone in the world is dying to reach) was built by "uneducated, gullible whites".
Yes. I don't buy into Q Anon B.S. Donald Trump is a pathological liar and people were and are gullible enough to fall for it. The real question should be is Biden, or anybody, lucid enough to undo the damage he did.
When you view the health of our nation from an economic perspective as I do, the man did a very competent job. I now walk into grocery stores and feel like I am in a third world country. We have supply chain problems in all sectors of our economy that aren’t behind addressed. People are apathetic and have no interest in correcting this cancer. So, if you want to discuss damage…..
If your question is; Is our political system producing the best and the brightest? My answer is and has been for a long time, HARD NO. Biden is clearly past his prime but a good man. Maybe the man we need in this moment. Time will tell. Harris is like any other V.P. A work in progress. Pelosi is another horse that is due to be put out to pasture but is still so effective in her role, she drives the Right absolutely insane. But all of these less than perfect leaders have various faults that pale in comparison to the complete sh*t show of the last administration by just about any single measure you can think of. A guy that was a total sleaze bag long before the the Christian Right anointed him as God's messenger on earth, long before the white supremacists found in him a kindred soul, long before the former GOP standard bearers knelt before him and kissed his ring. The man has always been a piece of total crap and we certainly can do much, much better even if we resorted to throwing darts at a board. So yes, our options are only limited by the amount of time we spend lying to ourselves about how great certain leadership choices have been.
First off, the "sh*t show of the last administration", as you put it, is all make believe...just like the impeachment trials. Can you actually name anything that wasn't a Nancy Pelosi fabrication? You can't keep lying and expect anyone to continue believing you. Most people learn this before the age of 4. That's why no more people will get vaccinated...government has lost the trust of the People. If COVID-19 is a serious concern, you might want to focus on regaining the People's trust.
I don't know if you've ever shopped in a third world country but it's business as usual where I am. Grocery stores are fully stocked. I shop the "reduced for quick sale" section a lot and get great deals on things about to expire. Instead of throwing it away they sell it cheap. All because they have too much. In June they had whole chickens for 49 cents. I bought 5. That's $2.45 for about 27 pounds of chicken. A few weeks ago it was eggs for 25 cents a dozen. Eggland's Best - the expensive ones. This week a 22 ounce tub of cottage cheese for 49 cents. I do this on a regular basis. Remember at the start of the pandemic? Good luck finding toilet paper or water and I'm fond of both. This was before it even got bad. When the pandemic was a "hoax". Now I'll admit there is a problem with the supply chain and the delta variant isn't helping. People are still afraid and truckers are people. Now as someone that once managed a truck stop I can tell you the solution is simple but wouldn't fly. Pay truckers more money. Of course if that happened food and other products would cost more. Trucking companies are always hiring and have been for many years. Not just during the pandemic. I got to know a lot of steel haulers. They constantly carried overweight loads. Constantly dodging DOT. Why?-because it was the only way to make money as a trucker. Sometimes the solution is right there but unreachable.
I only buy sale items, too. I find it a fun challenge that has me trying new products I normally wouldn't. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprise, but most times...not so much. It's when there's a lotta cash in the economy when people stop being picky shoppers and prices rise to absorb the excess cash. Most grocery chains donate food to the local food bank for tax purposes rather than undercutting prices. My nephew has a Master's degree in Biology and GIS science. He work for an Oil Service firm in Houston. He was an environmental protection project manager. They told him he could work from anywhere. My nephew is fond of hiking and camping, so he moved the family to an area just outside of Asheville, NC. What employers don't mention is...remote workers are the first to get the axe when times get tough...and times are tough in the domestic energy production industry. He found himself out of a job and had no prospects in the area he was living. His wife didn't want to leave the area so he had to find someway to make a living so the family could stay where they are. He chose truck driving. He finished school this Spring and is now a long haul trucker. He stopped by last week as he was picking up a load of ice cream to deliver to Texas. I like it because I see more of him than I did before. Sometimes we all need to adapt to our circumstances rather than blaming everyone else for our bad luck.
