I honestly believe this is going to mushroom into a larger national problem/blackeye like the Branch Davidians in Waco. I have many friends in the LDS/Mormon church who are terrified by this group and I mean TERRIFIED. I would encourage all members to read these articles in the headlines of the Rapid City Journal.

You are most likely absolutely right about these folks. The first clue is when someone calls himself a "prophet" of God. I don't know what marrying kids has to do with being closer to God but I can see why some dirty old men might want to join this "religion". Religion is just being used to prop up the egos of a small group of extreme nut cases in order to justify their carnal lust for young girls. In many cases, it is each other's children who are the real victims of freaks like these and the least able to defend themselves. Imagine the life they are living today.

Each compound has a blast furnace which is for use when a 'blood atonement' (punishment of death) is called for. Not sure if they've actually used them though. These nuts are CRAZY and Dangerous...

Quick question for you bones. About how many of these FLDS people do you have in your area, and are they out in the open about what they are up to? You spoke of a 'compound' , but was that in SD, or somewhere in the Utah area?

 

About 30 miles away in Custer, rumor is 200 folks are living there at the fenced, gated and towered compound. My neighbor down the road is a Mormon and he's pissed off because the negative light they paint the Latter Day Saint (LDS) Church. Both the FLDS and the regular LDS call themselves Mormons...
