At 15 point down right now, Trump will need all the other racists, bigots, haters, and morons he can get. @toughcoins ticks all 4 boxes.

We have Right-wing extremists, terrorists, that have actually murdered US citizens and are a growing threat in this country but they are tolerated by this Administration. If you happen to be a grandmother protesting the injustices in society, well, then she is a terrorist. Tell me who these grandmothers have murdered.

This is your lesson in Right-wing thinking.

No sir... This is your lesson in right wing thinking.

I didn’t go out and find the numbers but I believe I am safe in saying that the vast majority of Americans believe or live their lives based on the Christian ideals that founded our nation. So that I don’t offend the few, I don’t have bibles and crucifixes on my desk at work and don’t have nativity scenes in my front yard. That is intentional on my part because I do not wish to offend “the few”.

These vociferous protestors and rabble rousers are but a scant minute fraction of the American populace. By all accounts they are foul mouthed, disrespectful and have no concern for those around them. I don’t want my daughter exposed to it. Oh I will be tolerant of it as long as it is law abiding. Once lawlessness takes over, I refuse to tolerate it. And again we are talking about a segment of our nation that is so tiny, it likely represents a percentage of one percent of the nations population.

Those of us that lead productive lives based on a high ideals and deeply rooted morality have no voice. Though we represent the vast majority of our nations population, provide the jobs and pay the taxes.... Our voices are again asked to be stifled in the favor of the few.... Again and again we are told to hush up and be tolerant of the few. We are asked to consider a defunded police force so the few can feel content. We are asked to allow these thugs to destroy our businesses because we are insured. What planet is this kind of thinking allowed on? Apparently ours. And I for one am just a bit tired of being backed into a corner.

I'd like this a thousand times, if I could.

Not so much the protesters, but those vandalizing property and looting businesses cannot be happy unless they make someone else unhappy. It is their nature to be agitators and, absent the George Floyd incident, they'd still be eagerly awaiting some other "opportunity".

Their actions are uncivilized and if they are so unhappy with life on our shores, like the criminals the British set ashore in New South Wales centuries ago, we should find them a new home.

This right here is where the biggest problem currently lies. It's fine and well to believe everything you wrote, though I wouldn't go so far as to call us a Christian nation, but if you won't tolerate lawlessness why does the right defend the lawless tactics employed by the federal forces?

You can't fight lawlessness with lawlessness, that is truly the breakdown of our society. The current administration makes a lot of calls for law and order, but from where I'm standing it and they're only interested in order.

There is no law prohibiting the detainment of the vandals by police without identification or marked cars. Your claim of lawlessness is unfounded. As badly as you want your claim to be legitimized, it won't be.

It's a civil rights issue. The lawsuit Oregon is filing against the feds allege breach of due process, right to assembly (using scare tactics to discourage peaceful assembly), and seizure without warrant or probable cause. I welcome the agency to release their answers to these, especially probable cause. Until then, we'll see how it plays out in court.

Outside of the law issue, do you REALLY not see a problem with the federal government sending troops into a state to grab people off the street and put them into civilian vehicles all while not identifying themselves? What is the problem with doing it with using official vehicles, uniforms, and Miranda rights?

That's quite a stretch. The absence of a law on the books doesn't well-support your claim of lawlessness on the part of the feds. On the other hand, there are numerous laws on the books for which the perpetrators may be detained.

I didn’t say we were a Christian nation. I said we were founded on Christian ideals..... And I’ll offer an example of what my rant is about. I am typing on an IPhone. I can type a few letter and most any word combination pops up for me to choose. My IPhone will not recognize Christian. Isn’t that odd?....... I am not well versed enough in law to be able to say whether or not the federal forces are utilizing lawless tactics. I have said that I wouldn’t allow myself to be manhandled by somebody that has not identified themselves. However then again, I don’t put myself in compromising situations either..... Hhhmmm... Might be something to that.....

Fair enough, but unfortunately people that were ostensibly practicing their first amendment right to peaceful assembly are being picked up like this. The man in the very first video was released without charges per the Border Patrol's statement. He did nothing wrong and was taken like this. So you see we are up in arms because these tactics are being used on people who have done absolutely nothing but exercise their rights.

First off, Mirandizing is probably best administered by the agency to whom the detainees will be turned over, be it the FBI or other.

Regarding how I feel about the arresting officers being unidentified, I don't like it, but I do like it more than the anarchists and vandals walking off site un-penalized, disappearing back into the woodwork. Let them continue doing their job, I say. It's the right thing to do.

And yet they still can't seem to pick up the right people... I believe we should hold the government to higher standard than it's citizens of they truly want to represent law and order

I guess that I shouldn't find it so surprising that the same people that have preached government death panels, government takeovers, Second Amendment rights to combat government overreach, and government detention camps/FEMA camps, should now be defending exactly those government behaviors. I guess that when it is your guy doing it, it is OK.

You and I don't know which people are the right people . . . we weren't there. We see edited video clips (what took place in the 60 seconds prior to that clubbing? If that "tank" had assaulted an officer, or even just resisted arrest, we don't know about it because the "videographer" wouldn't want that on the record.

We don't know that it wasn't a case of mistaken identity. For all we know, those two police may have been sent after a guy in black with black helmet leaving the scene, and simply got the wrong guy.

Funny . . . before the police began detaining these folks I don't recall you complaining in the least about the standards of conduct to which the demonstrators were being held. It seems to me you espouse no standards of conduct for these agitators whatsoever.

Personally, I will not tolerate cheerleaders for these provocateurs.
