    Sentence #1 as it is written is lamenting the absence of a puzzle to do.

    Edit.... Well damn.... Don't I feel luck a dummy all of a sudden....

    I find it odd that you can use the terms "not having" and "having" and end up with the same sentence meaning. I've tried other examples and I get different meanings. Just peculiar.

    The first time I read the first sentence, I got the exact opposite meaning.
