Funny you should say it this way. You accuse jwevansv of using rose colored glasses to view the military in the very best light. Meanwhile you have a line in your signature that says "The closing days of the Bush Administration: The end of an error!" Which means you view the president with a pair of dark glasses to see him in the worst possible light. "You really are a true believer there cowboy."
Refer me to the source of these alligations and don't make it one of Danr's favorite web sites, please. I think you have crossed the line and are back to your ususal smoke and mirrors tricks. Show me the source...simple as that.
I don't see more than an obscure relationship between his severely biased opinion of the military and my negative opinion of the Bush Administration given the considerable amount evidence supporting the ineptness of his administration that is provided daily from insiders and opponents alike. It just doesn't stop coming and each new revelation pushes the previous scandal off the front page. Bush will undoubtedly go down in history as the single worst president ever to hold the office. That's quite an accomplishment given some of the hacks we have experienced in the last 200+ years. I see Bush just as he is, incompetent and unfit to hold the highest office in the....the world. I'm counting the days.
It is a shame what is happening to the reservists over there. They are subject to the same bullets, yet they get fewer benefits that the regular army. But, then again, they (Congress) aren't doing much for the regular guy, either.
Show me where these soldiers aren't getting the medical attention they need! I haven't seen any wounded soldiers begging for help. I am sure you see them ALL the time. Last I remember our soldiers are receiving the best medical care we can afford. Your baseless accusations are getting very old very fast!
These soldiers are doing what they feel is right by them. They aren't forced into signing up for the military. In fact, the military has been ahead of recruitment since these wars started. I don't think they signed up expecting to be millionaires. They signed up to fight for MOEN's freedom and their country's survival.
