Woo hoo! I'm off to see Mr. Trump! Coming to Grand Rapids next Monday. I reserved my tickets. I'm so excited!

I'm hoping for a safe time.

Enjoy the overt racism in the crowd. That is the real show. Trump doesn't do speeches. He just says whatever racist thing comes to the tip of his tongue at the moment.

Why would I care what Robert Byrd was? I'd vote for Bernie Sanders in a heartbeat. Would you? You must be a Jew hating Nazi.

Your insinuation about Robert Byrd proves one thing. He may have been a Southern racist when you had to be a Southern racist to get elected in the South, but he had to change his views to stay in the Democratic Party while Republicans swooped in and scooped up all the racists and have provided a comfortable home for them for the last 60+ years. Bigotry and racism have always existed in America. Only one party harbors them today no matter what the situation was over half a century ago. Why do you think white supremacists are so full-throated in their support for Donald Trump today? I don't give a flying fuck what the political situation was before I was born. What concerns me is what the current situation is. You should be too instead of looking back over 60 years ago.

So liberals will do whatever it takes to get elected? Just WONDERFUL!!
    And then there is;
Senator Harry Reid, the Democratic majority leader, apologized on Saturday for once predicting that Barack Obama could become the country’s first black president because he was “light-skinned” and had “no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.”
“You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking!” – Joe Biden, Vice President
“I mean you’ve got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and nice-looking guy.” – Joe Biden, Vice President

This was not a good thing. It was wrong.

This was not a good thing either. It was even more wrong.

That being said if you want to use these examples as an "argument" or "debate" your point is....

    Two wrongs make a right?

    Beyond lame folks.

I don't laugh at Trump too much these days and, yes, he does scare me..

Why? Because so many people are buying into his "reality TV" BS.

There are over a billion people on this planet that are some faction of Muslim faith. You know, just like good old Christians. He's playing with dynamite worldwide and it's a sham that hapless dupes will follow.

I highly doubt he'll become President but I don't doubt, in any way, shape and/or form that his rhetoric will cause a lot of deaths on the planet we inhabit.

A maniacal circus barker is not fit to be a major world leader.

For those that think he is please remove heads from rectums and look at the long term.

I have no desire to experience WWIII.

Jimmy Carter seriously? Iran took our diplomats hostage in an act of war. So banning Iranian travel was the wrong thing to do? How? So how is this supposed to be the equivalent of banning people simply because of their religion? False equivalency is all the Right has.
That leaves us with FDR. Japanese internment was wrong and brought about by scared people much like the scared people we have today on the Right. Even FDR knew that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. The same people calling for banning Muslims today would have been the same people calling for Japanese internment camps in FDR's day. Same dogs, different day. If they really wanted to disparage FDR, they wouldn't be advocating the same reprehensible behavior they are blaming FDR for. They really agreed with FDR's decision but can't admit it. Shame on them during WWII and today. We have learned in 60 years, the Right hasn't learned a thing.

Actually, there are dangerous people who support candidates you like. For example, Christians and conservatives are the target of radical Islamic groups throughout Arabia, and the IRS has specifically targeted conservative groups for audits during 2012 to affect the presidential election outcome, but you don't care when they are victims, so I wonder if they should care when your favorites are victims?

I pretty much don't care what goes on with regard to religious groups in other countries. I don't wish them harm, I don't care if harm finds them. I'm just neutral.

That's a lie that has been debunked but gets repeated because once a Right-wing meme is out there, nothing can stop it because Right-wingers are fanatics.
