Are you implying that Reid's comments swayed public opinion to the point that Romney lost the election? If so, are you ignoring Romney's comments about the 47% of Americans he believes are incapable of sustaining themselves without the federal government's support? Romney never had the full support of the republican party, or the common voter, in part due to his ridiculous statements about a significant portion of Americans. Perhaps he shouldn't have asked Rick Perry to wager $10,000 dollars, or maybe he shouldn't have been so eager to hide the reasons behind his ability to wager such a bet in the first place. The common, struggling people of America are still uncertain as to how he came to be so wealthy, and continue to question just what he did to achieve such "success". He certainly didn't do it as Obama did, by grass-roots methods, which appeals to the common, struggling individual. Instead, as many have come to believe, he achieved it through vulture-capitalism, the theft of assets through nefarious means. His off-shore hiding of assets played a critical role in that perception. For several days after the election, republicans were stunned that the common American didn't side with Romney's undefinable "success" story. Maybe republicans should do some introspection about that. Maybe then the republican party will see that the undeniable failure to convince the common American that greed is more valuable than honest, and compassionate, effort.
Interestingly, I never implied anything about Romney. I merely quoted Reid. So apparently your rant is an attempt to justify Reid's comments. Are you agreeing that lies are justified to attain your ends?
Whatever they need to tell themselves, let 'em have it. At any point, Romney could have have released his taxes if he wanted to prove that Reid was wrong. Romney didn't do it. So I guess the ends justified the means for Romney as well.
You are so used to lying, you cannot even remember the truth. Here is a reminder and note the date. Democrats, Media Get Punk'd: Romney Releases Tax Returns Guy Benson | Sep 21, 2012 It's official: The Romney campaign possesses a wicked sense of humor and an enviable degree of patience. After months of caterwauling, breathless innuendo and baseless slander, the Democrats and their media allies are being treated to a Friday feast of piping hot crow. The Romney campaign has released a detailed report of the the candidate's 2011 tax returns, as well as an extensive summary of the Romneys' taxes over the last two decades, prepared by analysts at PricewaterhouseCoopers. So I guess we are back to liberal lies justifying the ends - again.
Reid, "He didn't pay taxes for 10 years!" 2011 - Estimated return released. Proved Reid was a liar. 2010 - Return released. Proved Reid was a liar. Proved Reid was a liar. And this post and your own post proved you are also a liar. Would you care to post any more proof?
There are lots of unanswered questions about Romney's tax returns. How much $$$ does Romney have in his IRA account? Why didn't he release his FBAR (Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts Report)? Reid's allegation that Romney didn't pay taxes for a decade hasn't been proven incorrect, because Romney's never released that information. PricewaterhouseCoopers released Romney's tax-rate, but not his actual income. It's quite possible that Romney didn't pay taxes for certain years, because of Romney's use of tax-havens during those years.
Actually he said "for 10 years". Oh, and his "detailed report" was issued because they were still in progress of being prepared. But the mere fact that he paid taxes in 2011 made Reid and Mr. RBGUPI liars. And he did release his 2010 tax return stating that he did pay taxes further making Reid and Mr. RBGUPI liars. And regardless of how much detail was supplied, with a minimum of 13.6% tax rate he was guaranteed to have paid taxes each and every years since 1990. Further making Reid and Mr. RBGUPI liars - and you too.
Bullshit. Reid's original comments were about that ten years of unknown income. You posted something else: a moment where he was tired of the bullshit. You could always prove me wrong by posting ANY of Mr.Romney's tax-returns. You CAN'T, because Mr Romney has NEVER released his tax returns. The only thing he HAS released are summaries of his tax RATES, and that means your accusations are a lie.
So you won't believe me or the facts. Try reading Mr. RBGUPI's post #10. It specifically states that he released his 2010 return.
Stating that it was released and providing the actual evidence are two completely different things. One is an statement, the other is proof. Show the proof.
BTW, see http://thorndike.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Romney1040-2010.pdf Yopu have been proven wrong by your own words, but I bet you won't admit it. Would you care to retract that comment?
