Blog comment sections are often sewers of abuse, inhabited by wretched, obnoxious swine from all over the political spectrum. Oh, I forgot, the right is pure as the driven snow when it comes to slurs against women. Pathetic and self-serving attempts to co-opt rhetoric aside, women aren't fools.
It's always funny that these Right wingers will define the Left by using anyone that says anything bad about them with absolutely no knowledge of their political affiliation and yet completely disregard the Right's policies. It isn't simply rhetoric that makes the Right so anti-female, it's their policies. Yet we see thread after thread where they say, "Some guy said this so everyone on the Left is anti-woman". It's policies idiots, policies!
I don't think my post was hard to understand. If you need help, though, just let me know which part(s) have eluded your grasp, and I'll try to reiterate in clearer form.
The other side does it. Therefore, ........... And you made no comment regarding the op. I guess that means you are approving of such behavior.
*sigh* I'd accuse you of playing thick, but I've come to the conclusion (after reading your tripe for a few years now) that it really isn't an act. I'll go over it again, just as an exercise, since I don't have any illusions regarding the chances of getting through to you. My initial point is that neither side has a monopoly on bad behaviour. In blog and youtube comment sections, it's easy to find despicable jerks in every part of the political spectrum. This is a realistic view of online behavior, and those that try to point fingers, or make a show of "look how poorly I've been treated" like the political hack in the OP, are transparently attempting to use the free-for-all nature of the online commentariat for propaganda purposes. I've yet to see you criticise the ridiculous abuse heaped on the current first lady, in fact I seem to recall you indulging in a snide sideswipe or two at her yourself. On the other hand, you're ready to swallow and regurgitate the cynical publicity stunt in the OP, merely because it happens to have been produced by somebody with whose politics you agree. Well now I've laid it out explicitly. I don't approve, I merely acknowledge that it isn't anything unusual, nor is it a behaviour which only one side indulges in. Any further questions?
What could be worse on the "war on women" front than having Hillary justifiying Bill's sexual assaults on women as him "ministering"?
