    Is Benghazi the only rallying point the republicans can stand behind? Now that Obamacare is succeeding, the economy has grown and there haven't been any new wars, it seems the only uniting thing in their mantra. Why aren't they crying over Lebanon or Yemen, where dozens of embassy employees were killed and no perps were brought to justice?

    Simple. Your info is wrong. In the latest Yemen embassy attack, 5 attackers died and no one else. I will assume you are referring to the 1984 Beirut embassy attacks. First, Iran was found responsible. You think we should have invaded Iran? Only 2 were American and none were an ambassador. There were hearings. But most importantly, Reagan did not hide anything.

    And good luck with you Obamacare succeeding scenario.

    "After the bombing, President Ronald Reagan expressed outrage at the "despicable act" and vowed that American forces would stay in Beirut until they could forge a lasting peace. In the meantime, he devised a plan to bomb the Hezbollah training camp in Baalbek, Lebanon, where intelligence agents thought the attack had been planned. However, Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger aborted the mission, reportedly because he did not want to strain relations with oil-producing Arab nations. The next February, American troops withdrew from Lebanon altogether."

    So much for "wrong info".

    In being the republican outrage isn't about hiding anything, at least right now, but rather that no action was taken.

    Dozens killed? Not brought to justice? But most importantly, not covered up.

    I have no idea where you are getting your info, but I mostly hear about coverup. Are you afraid that the truth might actually come out?

    Ok, if we're talking cover-ups, what of the hundreds of thousands of lives lost over WMD's that weren't there? Or is a president's utter stupidity disqualify him from covering up a screw-up? Or if that cover-up isn't good enough for you, maybe I need to throw in some quotes by Oliver North regarding a cover-up by the republican god, Reagan. If you want to cry about cover-up's thats good and fine. But lets not pretend this is something only a black democratic president has ever been accused of.

    Hillary Clinton claimed WMD's existed & strongly urged Bush to go to war.

    Actually, we were talking about Obamacare, but since you could not converse on that.......
    Yes Hillary claimed there were WMD's in Iraq, but Bill was first. 2-17-1998;

    BTW, Iraq actually used them. REALLY!!!

    So, Obamacare isn't working? it's far exceeded it's estimated enrollment. I think the opponents have even given up that fight. But I'm happy to see the fight still in an old fella like you, Rlm. Keeps the witherin spark alight.

    Yeah, it's amazing how that works, isn't it? You kick millions off their current plans, subsidize everyone & recruit illegals before they sneak into the country...then threaten folks with IRS retribution if they don't sign up! Now, please explain why the admin calls 7 million (out of their number of 39 million) a success?

    And the guesstimates of those paying are more like 5 million. After kicking 6+ million off the rolls, that is not much of a success IMO.

    I guess the admin will sell is as a success story & continue hoping the Ozombies keeping falling for the lies.

    Is it better than those people not being insured? I mean you guys gripe about people feeling entitled to this and that, yet million of people without insurance every year get FREE medical care at taxpayer expense. So, thats better than Obamacare...is that what you're saying? You guys aren't happey either way.

    How about paying for Obamacare (the last I heard it was up to about $3T) and still having an extra million uninsured. You say " it's far exceeded it's estimated enrollment." Actually, it did not. The "exceeded" number you hear is nothing more than the number who signed up on the web/in person. Kind of like the people who put something in their cart on Amazon. but did not pay for it. You are not enrolled until you pay. OOPS! Only 50% - 75% are paying. Only 28% are the young require to pay for the system, but the target was 40%. Now, please tell me what target he has met.

    Like I asked, are you saying you prefer there not be a system, no matter how flawed, which I admit, it is jacked, and have people who don't have insurance just continue to receive care at yours and my expense? Yes, we will still pay for this with our taxes, but not like we were with the uninsured. The uninsured were not billed at insured rates, but full cost, which the public got to pay. I'd rather my dollars went toward an insured rate than a retail rate.
