A simple question. Maybe a few right wingers can answer for me.

If Bundy is being SO abused where is that Fox coverage these days? I mean BIG TIME "fair and balanced"?

Seems they are stepping away along with right wing politicians. Why is that?

A simple question for you then. Since Fox covered it so well, the government called off their dogs. Just what is it that you expect Fox to cover?

    A question with a question.

So you can't or won't answer rlm. That's a shame as I did ask first after all.
    Didn't I?

So I guess I'll counter your questions to my questions with more questions eh?

Fox covered it so well? Does that not make it "fair and balanced" newsworthy for some reason? Shouldn't they continue reporting?

"The government called off their dogs"?

If that is so, why are there still "militia" out there?

Are any of the locals getting tired of this BS?

That would seem newsworthy of a "fair and balanced" network.

Report what? The government was the story. They are still reporting on the government. The government isn't invading Greese, NY. They aren't report that. Should they? They are report news - stories people are interested in. No one is interested ion a story saying thet the government is not invading the Bundy ranch. Why would they?

"Stories people are interested in". I gotta love that rlm as should anyone else here with a teeny, weeny bit of brain when looked at as a whole.

It goes left and right after all.

Because it doesn't fit their "news".

If Fox is so interested in reporting "fair and balanced" it would seem to me they would report both sides.

    Hence the "fair and balanced".

    So when you state...

...you only demonstrate YOUR views that seem heavily influenced by Fox.

Believe it or not some people might actually be interested.

They might want to know why "militia" are still there for example.

But you are not enough "people" to make an audience. I will put it this way. Fox is the #1 cable news station. Fox is the most trusted news outlet. You opinion is out numbered.

Had you read the rest, you would have seen this one also and I believe several others on the same line.

    Keep on believing that.

Who really cares if Fox is the "#1 cable news station"?

If what Fox says or doesn't say influences people that much it only shows me how shallow those viewers can be.

Where's the "fair and balanced" they push so much?

    Where's the "militia" reports?

The people who watch Fox care. Obviously you are not interested in accuracy.

And what NBC and MSNBC makes up influences those who don't bother checking also. And, yes, they have been caught making it up. Just ask Olbermann, Bashir,Baldwin, the Cheerios tweeter, etc. Don't ask me how Harris-Perry, Schultz, Sharpton, Mathews, et al manage to survive.

I've been here a long time rlm. You know that.

Your statement is by far one of the funniest I have ever read on this forum.

    You know this how?

I love this pathetic defense of FOX. ALL the cable news networks and FOX combined are only a tiny percent of viewers compared to local and national networks. It seem that your opinion is very, very outnumbered.

    And then 5 years later, this is what Pew found;

Bret Baier of Fox News (Fox News Channel)
(CNSNews.com) - The Fox News Channel beat out local television and CNN as Americans' number one source of television news on national and international issues, according to a survey published Thursday by the Pew Research Center for The People & The Press.
In the survey, which was conducted July 20-24, Pew asked 1,501 American adults whether they got most of their television news on national and international issues from local television, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News Channel, or if television was not a main source of news for them.
Fox came out on top with 19 percent saying they got most of their TV news there. That was followed by local television at 16 percent, CNN at 15 percent, NBC at 10 percent, ABC at 8 percent, CBS at 7 percent, and MSNBC at 6 percent.
The 4-point difference between Fox News and CNN was greater than the Pew survey’s margin of error, which was +/-3.5.
Thirty-four percent said that television was not a main source of news for them.
Pew has been asking Americans where they get most of their television news since January 2002. Back then, CNN led with 28 percent followed by Fox News with 16 percent and local television with 16 percent.
