Insurance premiums are increasing more under Obamacare...

...or you could have worked to earn more in order to pay the premium or you (or your wife) could have pursued employment that provided healthcare insurance...
See, there always have been additional options but I guess sometimes it is easier to just let the gubmint (or your fellow citizens) handle it for you, huh?

 

I will tell you exactly why. It's so easy to make suppositions like JoeNation does. When one adds "It certainly looks like it" to the end of a sentence, one can skew the conversation.

For instance:

Did JoeNation watch a rape happen? Yes. But, did he not help the girl? It certainly looks like it.

That's a supposition. Not necessarily true and not necessarily supported by facts; it's just a supposition.

When you say that Obamacare is working for you while millions of others are losing theirs, it's easy to interpret your remarks as, "I got mine, now you get yours". Is that how you truly feel? You say no. But, it certainly looks like it.

 

Boy these Right-wing idiots just love the rape. It's all they seem to fixate on. It doesn't matter what the actual topic is, they inevitably bring it right back to the topic of rape. I kind of get the feeling that they are turned on by the concept and as I have pointed out, fraternities are bastions of Right-wingers so they may just be reliving their college years by reminiscing about rape so often. I just hope each and every one of them have daughters to contribute to the Right-wing fantasy. That would be poetic justice.

Forgive me if I brought up part of your past that you would just as soon bury. It's just that the experience you shared with us can be used in so many ways to demonstrate what a coward you truly are. At least, it certainly looks that way.

I'm amazed that he tries to make it appear others are fixated by rape when he's the one who leered into someone elses window...apparently on more than one occassion. I also find this blind jealousy he exhibits toward fraternities/sororities odd since he's chosen a career on a unviersity campus.

I will say the same thing on the Internet, in the same room with you or wherever. Something tells me I wouldn't want to be in the same room with you, however. Is it worth the time to educate these chumps?

Consider these:

With ACA a whole bunch of peeps (tens of millions of Americans) now have some health care that they didn't have before, either just having any care now or having better insurance. This being due to the expansion or just the new requirements for plans. Many of them (probably tens of millions – go find a fact) now get it free or at a subsidized premium. The 'relatively well off' complain that now they have to purchase insurance at realistic premiums and those plans are now required to be even better than what they had before, to comply with ACA.

Run the math out into the future and everybody on the whole is better off for less total $ (cost to Americans one way or the other) compared to what costs would have been.

Some folks just shouldn't complain with their mouths full.

The only wrench in the works is excessive costs (health care industries providers and insurance companies greed) but heck that is the capitalist pig greed model in action. Don't like it? Fix the actual problem, greed, the rich getting richer at the expense of everyone else.

What? This comes as some surprise that you are not in the top group getting rich on this? Open your eyes chump. Or just keep empowering those that rule you and wish to enslave you because it makes you feel good to piss on those that are marginally worse off than you, but in reality swim in the same water with you.

That said, there are others here (not many, but some), who read what we say but don't actively participate in many discussions, who are "on the fence", so-to-speak, and it's worth providing them with information that can help them make informed decisions. It's better to do that than to have the chumps "educate" them with their false-facts and outright lies.

The goal here, for me, is to provide decent people with the ability to research information themselves, and make their own informed decisions. They deserve that chance, imo, as an educated public is the only way to combat the BS spread by FOX "News" and company.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of decent people out there who believe in the BS. The only way to get through to them is to encourage them to look beyond the BS and find answers for themselves. I have faith that can do it...I'm just not happy with the rate that they are doing it at lol

 

If you believe that, I have lots of land to sell you .............. Even Obama's best lies don't come close to that figure and they are off by millions.
