Russia Invades Ukraine. Where's Obama?

And you last posted something about Obama in the Ukraine 17 posts ago. Every post since has been to attack the messenger. How many times have I posted that?

Well?

 

The White House announced today that because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine it will not be sending a presidential delegation to the Paralympics in Sochi next week. Well, that's a start I suppose.

 

Crimea is just the start of it. Other areas within Ukraine are considering joining with Crimea as it attempts to become independent, or join Russia.

Representatives from Kherson Oblast (province), Mykolaiv Oblast and Odessa Oblast have held talks with the newly appointed leader of Crimea (installed while the government there was under siege), Sergey Aksyonov, who is, of course, pro-Russian.

There are still several other Oblasts that I anticipate will also want to join the movement.

 

The Budapest Memorandum, which I believe Russia has violated:

"According to the memorandum, Russia, the US, and the UK confirmed, in recognition of Ukraine becoming party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and in effect abandoning its nuclear arsenal to Russia, that they would:

• Refrain from the threat or use of force against Ukraine.
• Refrain from using economic pressure on Ukraine in order to influence its politics.
• Seek United Nations Security Council action if nuclear weapons are used against Ukraine.
• Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against Ukraine.
• Consult with one another if questions arise regarding these commitments."

They've violated four of the above, IMO. They haven't used nukes, and are unlikely to.

I think I'll give the infidels here some ammo...since they have so little:

Crimean Tatars are the rightful heirs to Crimea Oblast. Prior to 1944, they were murdered or deported in large numbers by various entities. In 1944 they were deported en masse by the former Soviet Union, and were not allowed to return to their homeland. In the mid-80s, that changed, and some of the survivors began returning to Crimea. Today, they represent less than 15% of the population.

That's right, republican Talabanians...Obama wants to help a minority of Muslims gain power over Putin's influence there. You remember Putin...he's that flabby, bare-chested guy you all ejaculate to...when you're in need of a break from condemning Obama for his Muslimnesses. Now you can do both at the same time.
