Civil? Truthfully, the personal attacks are getting worse again. Much worse. Disgustingly so, really. About 90% as I read new posts the last few days.

This place is getting to be a lot like Usenet only (so far) without the foul language.

I find that many people get attacked just for pointing out something and usually its one group ganging up on that one person. In my opinion there is some very hateful people in ths forum.

 

This is why this forum was hived off from CoinTalk guy's and please believe me it is not that bad realy

 

Don't think of this as a debate. It helps to remember that you aren't always dealing with the highest of IQs here but then again a high IQ isn't a requirement for an internet connection either. Don't take those people seriously that attack you and gang up on you just because they happen to agree with each other blindly. I find that many of them like to only listen to those that believe as they do. It just makes their chances of actually learning something rather small. Sort of the chicken and the egg question, were they dumb first or do they just keep themselves that way with their closed minds.
Now I'm not singling out anyone in particular so if you are offended by any of this, it's only because you see the truth in what I am saying. If you feel this doesn't apply to you, it may not.
I for one am glad to hear your opinions Whispy! Have fun with those you can't take seriously and try not to crawl into the mud with them too often. For many of them, this is their natural habitat. They will post their opinions as facts, find information on the internet and use it only if it agrees with them, and dance around and call themselves the winner of the "debate" when you give up trying to have a reasonable discussion with one of them instead of a name calling contest.
