You think that's bad? I'm on another site with dictator-mods in control. One of 'em received a bunch of free cards from another member but was complaining about how horrible the autographs were. He ended the comment with "Just lazy, I guess?", so I answered the question by telling him how much I hate signing stuff, and how those players have to sign thousands and thousands of stuff every year, so I cut 'em some slack. He got real pissy about it in a PM accusing me of "arguing" with him. I simply said "Calm. Down.", so we could talk about it like adults...and he banned me lol...From what I can tell, it's permanent too. Big @#$%ing whoop. Even better: The mods there were getting slammed by spam recently, but couldn't contact the owner. I tracked the owner down for them and he solved the issue in a few hours. I didn't get so much as a "thanks" from the mod, then he bans me for not agreeing with his rant? lol...whatever. Serves me right for helping someone like him. The mods here are no where near as bad as most other mods I've encountered. Most are childish and power-mad. Count your blessings these guys aren't.
You think it is a train wreck now - wait until people start filing their taxes next year. The subsidies people are receiving now are in the form of a prebate. Any adjustments due to unpaid premiums or under estimated income is going to come out of their tax refunds.
Who said anyone reported it? The mods view these threads and can decide to take action independent of any report.
I see quite a few attempts to derail it, but the train's still steamin' along. That said, it's had to make a lot of unscheduled stops because of some people tampering with the rails.
The people, and their lackeys of course, that want deperately for the ACA to fail lose steam every single day. Millions are signing up and becoming insured and the new law is becoming as successful as the Massachusetts law it was modeled after. I know hoping for failure is all they have left except for being on the wrong side of history yet again. Their same lame ass arguments from Socialism to job killing predictions were trotted out when Social Security was passed and when Medicare was passed and they were wrong then and they are wrong now. They may do the Plutocrats bidding but they too will benefit from the ACA right along with the rest of us. The only difference between them and us will be that they will never admit that they were wrong and we won't have to.
You are not enrolled until you have paid. For all I know, millions have looked at what insurance they can get and put something in their basket". You can do that many times, but you are not in the system until you pay. Again I ask how many have paid?
Why? Why do you care? You don't have any interest whatsoever in who may have paid. You would prefer that nobody paid and that the entire ACA failed. Invested in failure is all you are. Why should anyone entertain any question you have? You just want to be a dick, Dick.
Oh! You are so wrong. I do pay taxes and my taxes support his boondoggle. Beside that, I am an American. I want America to succeed. IMO, that means Obamacare must fail before it kills what is left of America.
The intelligent thing to do would be to ask the mod directly instead of making presumptious allegations such as "... the victim who reported it". Just sayin'.
Yup! helping to provide health care to the worst off amongst us is probably the ONE thing that will kill what is left of America. If by America you mean social disparity.
Or just let it go. The mods read, if they wanted to say something more they would have. I expressed that I don't even recall what those words were - or even if there were words there. And so far apparently no one does either. Were there offensive words there? Or did I post the red stuff?
Not really. But screwing up 16% of the American economy to "help" 2% of the American public (who already had 3/4 of that "help") will do it just fine. And then you tack on the increased electricity costs, the bankers, the IRS, etc. and you have a big mess that leads to worse "social disparity".
2%? I've heard it said that there are 47% of us who are lazy, no-good, leeches on society. IMO, One of these numbers is wrong, and I'm siding with you on the 2%. So, if you want those 2% removed from receiving assistance, are you actually willing to ruin the lives of the 45% that truly need that assistance? I can't agree with that!
If 47% of Americans "need that assistance", you truly have to redefine "need". BTW, I did not give so much as a hint of the number needing help.
So? Obama has said he wants to raise the cost of living for all the poor. I guess that means you agree the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer from his economy, right? BTW, if you go back and read/listen Romney's original statement, he likewise said not one whit about need.
