Uhm, that would be the same yes you got before. And Obama's life is worth even more.

BTW, even if it were not, just how many Americans were kill in those embassies attacked during the Bush administration? There were 4 killed in Benghazi, in case you forgot.

You like numbers? How about 241 dead Marines in Beirut. When exactly did the Democrats spend a year and a half politicizing their deaths? You freaks should be ashamed of yourselves! The deaths of these brave Americans was no different than the deaths of hundreds of others serving our country abroad in any number of service positions but this incident will go down as the most callous political opportunist ploy ever perpetrated on the American public. And you losers own it. I am embarrassed for anyone in this country associated with this farce. You're really a bunch of sick bastards if you want to know the truth.

So you are blaming Beirut on Bush now. I would love to hear how you could possible tie that to Bush. Ignoring that little fact (you are good at that), What lies did the Republicans tell about the Beirut bombing? Which ambassador was killed. How did Reagan obstruct the hearings? Who was not allowed to testify?

The "Majority Interim Report: Benghazi Investigation Update" from Howard P. "Buck" McKeon (Republican - California's 25th District), the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, can be read here (PDF). In regard to the question of whether a "stand down" order was issued, the "Findings" section is unequivocal:

For more detail, again quoting from McKeon's report:

Nice pdf link L. So if you focus your attention on page 14 you see that at first BHO was in a meeting: "Secretary Panetta and General Dempsey then left for the White House to attend an unrelated routine weekly meeting with the President. Upon arrival, the two discussed the attack with the President for fifteen to thirty minutes, at which time they presumably shared all that was known about the unfolding events, including the fact that the ambassador and the subordinate (Mr. Sean Smith) were missing.48 According to Secretary Panetta’s statements to the Senate, the President “directed both myself and General Dempsey to do everything we need to do to try to protect the lives” in Benghazi.49 General Dempsey recounted to the House Armed Services Committee:
the President instructed us to use all available assets to respond to the attacks to ensure the safety of U.S. personnel in Libya and to protect U.S. personnel and interests throughout the region.50
Secretary Panetta and General Dempsey eventually returned to the Pentagon and guided the response from there.51"

These filters really need to be replaced, someday.
