Glenn Beck Admits Helping Tear Country Apart

I have always said that Glenn Beck was a very smart man and he knew exactly what he was doing. I didn't agree with what he was doing nor did I fall for his act but I never thought he was stupid. Now he admits that he was basically just playing his Right-wing audience. And he played you GOOOOOOOOD!!!

Glenn Beck admitted Tuesday that he has some major regrets about his time at Fox News.
“I remember it as an awful lot of fun and that I made an awful lot of mistakes, and I wish I could go back and be more uniting in my language,” Beck said during an interview with Megyn Kelly. “I think I played a role, unfortunately, in helping tear the country apart and it's not who we are.”
He continued, “I didn’t realize how really fragile the people were. I thought we were kind of more in it together and now I look back and realize, if we could've talked about the uniting principles instead of just the problems, I think I would look back more fondly.”
Beck left the network after two and a half years in June 2011 to start his own media company. His tenure was full of controversial moments, from accusing President Obama of being a "racist" to gutting a fish that he compared to the mainstream media on air.
He has made similar remarks about his time at Fox News before, telling the AP last year that he wishes he had used less divisive language.

 

And I guess that means Harris, Bashir, Olbermann, Matthews, Baldwin, Holder, Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Biden, etc. et al had nothing to do with helping tear the country apart. Oh, but they will never admit it.

 

The lacrimose liar Beck is, as usual, busy self-promoting. Loudly attempting to inflate his own importance and indulging his delusions of relevance. He didn't do anything much to "help tear the country apart," but merely egged on the zealots, haters, racists and assorted wing-nuts who decided to throw a collective tantrum when the anti-Christ Obama was elected.

It's not as if that element of American society was conjured into existence by the snivelling diatribes of the Mormon maroon. Sure, they generally enjoyed hearing sympathetic noises coming from him, but he was, and remains, a minor figure, just as Olbermann was and is.
