Drip, Drip, Drip Christie Scandal Goes On

I told you this thing was just going to get wider and wider. Now Federal relief funds are in the mix. Wow!

 

Another non-story.

 

Hey, we're not talking about Benghazi here.

I think when a mayor is willing to give a Federal deposition, you have to believe that person is serious. Non-story eh? I think you wish it was a non-story.

 

I think the reason Real Republicans™ see this as a non-story is because they don't care whether RINO Christie's managed to politically shoot himself in the foot. Anyway, they'd rather he was out of the running so that a true believer has a chance at the nomination. How about a "Run, Gohmert, Run" movement?

 

I doubt Christie could have won the nomination over some crazy extremist like Michele Bachmann anyway. He isn't capable of running that far to the Right even to win the nomination. In fact, he isn't capable of physically running.

 

He has local support, but nationally he'd have a real tough time clinching the nomination, even before these scandals.

That said, should he put his hat in the race and actually win the nomination, republicans nation-wide would vote for him and he would not be an easy person to beat. He's as slick as Willie when it comes to political maneuverings, and his reputation of taking names and retaliating against people is reaching legendary status.

 

I doubt the Tea Party crowd is going to vote for him in any case. He just isn't their cup of tea....pun intended. He made the mistake of acknowledging that Obama exists and that alone removes him from consideration because he actually lives in reality.
