I think the biggest scandal (of all the scandals) is BO's use of the IRS to attack his political opponents. The biggest cover-up is Benghazi. The worst blunder is Obamacare.

Then go start those threads and see who wants to talk to you about it, but put your tired one trick pony to rest, he must about dead by now. If you can muster a thought about this topic, go for it!

Consider if you will that CC's administration is responsible as has been freely admitted so what does that say about him as its leader who has complete and ultimate control? His defense is a claim of ignorance?

    OK,

Now I'll weigh in on my opinion of Chris Christie.

He's got an unusual name for starters.

As the current crop of Republicans go I think he had some serious potential. He had some appeal to both right and left.
Be it correct or incorrect he lost a boatload of that appeal.

    Bottom line.

    He'll never be president.

    Waters over troubled bridge.

    I'm sure he's on it. :)

That said, I'd still prefer to see Cristie held accountable, but have some doubts as to whether or not the judicial system is capable of it.

And yes, i am indeed declaring the fat-one "guilty". It is my opinion, but I have no doubts that he is indeed guilty. If anyone has a problem with me stating my opinion this way...too bad for you, it's done :p , and you can't do much about it beside cry like babies that it's "unfair!"

Still, if you want to cry about it, I know this Jamaican wet-nurse who...oh, never mind...

What is the spectrum on CC? Either he led the charge all the way down to being clueless as to what his staff was up to. Further information that comes to light can probably not help him. At a minimum he failed to supervise his staff, and we don't need him to climb the ladder to anywhere higher. Or it is worse. Grimm even :D

    He is done. Next !

There is no doubt that he directed his staff to do his bidding, that he created the imaginary post in the Port Authority for one of his people, as a reward for services-rendered, to have ears in places he himself couldn't be. There are bigger fish than him, but he was so easy to spot, so blatently fat and slow, a caveman coulda caught him.

He is toasting, but he isn't quite done. In the meantime, there are bigger fish to catch, a lot of people to feed, so-to-speak. Time for some fishin', the water's severely overstocked, and with invasive species no-less! It's time to balance some of that equation. ;)

Eventually some big-mouthed bastards are gonna surface, makin' 'em easier pickin's. The villager's are gonna feast real good on those suckers lol

Well, this non-story seems to have fallen off the radar. Oh, but I seem to recall something about Wildstein providing so-called "evidence". Whatever became of that?

I guess it's a non-story because it involves another Republican Governor under Federal investigation. So to sum it up, we have a former Republican Governor Bob McDonnell or "Gov Gifty", Chris Christie of course, Republican Scott Walker in Wisconsin, and now Republican Governor Pat McCrory under Federal investigation in NC. I guess by "non-story" you must mean that Republican Governors under Federal investigation is getting pretty common. I agree. We may need a score card to keep track of these Republicans.

Did I mention Rick Perry being investigated? Oops!

Yes Wildstein sent it to me personally. Can't you even wait until the subpenas have been answered? You seem to have unending patience when it comes to Issa and his endless hearings and subpenas that have given rise to nothing but none when it comes to the Chris Christie scandal. I wonder why?

Here is a Republican Governor wannabe..... I guess he decided to have a pre-scandal...:D

Illinois gubernatorial candidate faces sexual harassment suit from former male employee

Ed Michalowski claims state treasurer Dan Rutherford made inappropriate sexual advances and forced him to do political work on state time. Rutherford, one of four GOP candidates for governor, denies the allegations.

    THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
    Monday, February 10, 2014, 4:54 PM
CHICAGO — A former employee in Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford's office filed a federal lawsuit Monday claiming the Republican gubernatorial candidate made inappropriate sexual advances and regularly forced him to do political work on state time, allegations Rutherford has strongly denied.
Ed Michalowski, a former lawyer and director in Rutherford's office, alleges in the lawsuit that Rutherford's sexual advances began in April 2011, shortly after Michalowski began working in the office, and continued for more than two years. The lawsuit also claims Rutherford asked Michalowski to set up meetings with potential donors for campaign contributions and organize parades and petition drives while he was working for the state.
Rutherford has denied any wrongdoing and held an unusual, hastily arranged news conference Jan. 31 to announce that an unnamed employee had raised “allegations of misconduct” against him. Initially, Rutherford said he couldn't detail the allegations because they were a personnel matter, but he later confirmed they involved harassment and political coercion.
“I know the accusations are completely false,” Rutherford told The Associated Press last week.
He said an independent investigation would clear his name and accused a Republican gubernatorial rival, businessman Bruce Rauner, of being behind the accusations in an attempt to undermine Rutherford's campaign with just weeks to go before the March 18 primary. Rauner has denied the allegation.
Michalowski submitted a letter of resignation to Rutherford's office last week. The lawsuit names both the treasurer and his chief of staff, Kyle Ham, who didn't immediately return a message seeking comment.

Wildstein's lawyer has said that "evidence exists". So, why doesn't he present the evidence? No one needs a subpoena to do that. Doesn't it seem reasonable that if, indeed, "evidence exists" Wildstein would present this as quickly as possible and put an end to all the speculation as to whether or not Christie was involved?

Because Wildstein wants immunity. Who wouldn't? He wants a get out of jail free card. The entire GOP of NJ seems to be rotten.
