Um, don't you mean Global Climate Change? The libs renamed it so that each & every weather condition could be blamed on man.

Exactly. Rain, snow, sleet, hail, heat, cold, wind, earthquakes, tornadoes, PMS and cancer can all be blamed on Global Climate Change/Warming/Cooling/Word-of-the-Day if one exaggerates it enough.

I find it hard to believe that people don't believe in global warming, climate change, or simply that we could affect the environment to the point of our own detriment. But then again I just saw a poll that said that 48% of Republicans actually do not believe in the theory of evolution as put forth by Darwin so at least I can figure out where all the climate change deniers come from anyway.

Even recent history tells us that we can drastically change the environment in a few short years. Have all these Republicans forgotten the Dust Bowl? Through poorly thought out farming practices, millions upon millions of tons of topsoil was carried aloft and blanketed huge parts of the country. No one had ever seen anything like it at the time. This phenomena was man-made and had global implications until the Federal government stepped in and solved the problem. Climate change is the same thing except we have been burning fossil fuel much longer and the damage is not restricted to the central United States and whatever wind direction happened to come along. The debate is over in the scientific community but the Koch Brothers are the main funding source for climate deniers because it threatens the gravy train daddy handed them. Climate deniers are pretty much just lackeys for the energy corporations. They don't want to have to pay for the damage they've done anymore than the tobacco industry wants to pay for their deadly product.

Liberals are the worst conspiracy theorists. Remember his thread concerning the Boston Marathon bombings? Hoo boy! He was on a conspiracy roll over that one!!

I firmly believe in Global Warming, there are no longer glaciers threating Oklahoma. You now have to go all the way to the Canadian border to find any decent glaciers these days. I don't know what planet you are living on, but my planet has been a warm tropical paradise void of any ice caps for most of it's existence. We folks are still on a warming trend from the last ice age and I doubt it the tide was not turned by the caveman and his new fangled camp fires.

But, then again... January is usually cold... and July is usually hot. Who woulda thunk it?

"Global Climate Expert" Alan Freedman (sp?) was interviewed on NPR this morning. In a nutshell, he blamed every single weather occurence on man. Big or small, swings from one extreme to the other...everything is man's fault.

I would hardly call anything with this much science support a "conspiracy" but you Right-wingers never diid understand much about science Mr. above the 100th percentile.

Again, we have proof positive that we can adversely affect the environment but you deniers even deny recent history. That''s about par for the course.

Science? Making up data is not science.
You need to reread that Huffington article. It does not say "48% of Republicans actually do not believe in the theory of evolution".
There is zero proof of that statement. Lots of theories, but no proof.

Wow! Those brothers must be as rich as Soros, Gates, and Buffet combined. And I, Coin, David, and many more are not " lackeys for the energy corporations"!

97% of scientists are "making up data"? Now who is living a fantasy?

Its funny that the least educated person here is recommending school.

Least educated? LOL! Highly doubtful. Regardless, the only reason I recommended school for you is because the liberal blogs you've been reading authored by basement-dwellers seem to be filling your cranium with nothing but hot air. There's an old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". I've recommended school for you, but it's up to you to apply yourself. I can't help you any more than that; it's your decision now.

Oh boy. The fatuous and despicable gas-bag Rush Limbaugh (hero of the willfully benighted science denying American right) is spouting his abject ignorance on this topic.

As for the "Herp, it's cold, man--global warming can't be a real thing derp" line of nonsense, I've come to expect nothing more from the dupes of the fossil fuel hegemony.

"Can global warming be real if it’s cold in the U.S.? Um… yes!"
