Mr Aldrin is a hero & national treasure. He deserves better than this sort of treatment he rec'd from the far left whackos...just like our veterans deserved better than having that far left whacko in the White House shut down their monuments!

In the scenario, I was practicing my religious right to defend myself against non-believers bent on attacking my religious freedoms.

It also fulfills the challenge he put forth, to "swear on the bible". I took it literally, and my religion pretty much demanded me to fulfll it in that manner.

 

I know that this story is more than 10 years old, and though I don't know why JoeNation chose to rehash it (as did CNS), I really don't care, either. What JoeNation chooses to write about here is his own concern, and none of mine.

The whole thread would have failed to pique my interest if it weren't for yakpoo making a completely unsubstantiated assertion that Sibrel's politics are "liberal." Your feeble attempt to support yakpoo's line aside, I find it telling that others here seem to be willing to parrot it unquestioningly.

I don't care where you found that particular line. What I did is question your reason for failing to cite the source. The most charitable guess would be that it was sheer lazy sloppiness on your part. I'm happy to go with that.

You're mistaken, by the way. On Sibrel's little webpage just below the "Bart's YouTube Page" link, there is a link to his "Conspiracy Corner" eructations on the "Sleuth Journal" site.

I see that yakpoo has stopped by to grace us with some more of his wisdom in at least one other thread, but for some reason failed to reply here. It must be that he's compiling an extensive dossier on Sibrel, which will show that there's no doubt that he's a dyed in the wool liberal pinko commie bastard.

Then there is this weird attempt to attribute Mr. Sibrel's agenda to the political Left without a single supporting argument and while simultaneously ignoring every single point Recus made in a highly organized and easy to understand post. How lazy is that?

Joe, you start a thread pasting some article or video you want to discuss, but you don't make a point or relate how your opinion relates to your post. THEN, when people respond to your post (as they would a Rorschach test), you go off because no one addresses your point.

Why not simply state what's on your mind and we'll be happy to give you our unvarnished, focused response. It almost seems as though you want to discuss a topic...but hear our point of view first before selecting yours.
