Okaaaaay? So you're caught numerous times plagiarizing Wikipedia, AP, and other sources and your response is to want to shoot those that caught you?

Paul, referring to the people who insulted him and accused him of being dishonest, said, "... if dueling were legal in Kentucky, if they keep it up, you know, it would be a duel challenge. But I can't do that...". So, somehow you think he's saying that he wishes he could shoot people? Uh, ok.. Whatever. Hell, you wanted to burn down the Wisconsin State House and you don't even live in Wisconsin! You're an idiot.

By the way, Paul called his haters the "footnote police" Very apropos.

Moron joe wouldn't have had any way of knowing the quote or the context...it just wasn't part of the talking points he was fed.

By the way, I like the signature! The biggest lie of the 21st century as told by the biggest liar of the 21st century.

High school kids are taught what plagiarism means. But Rand Paul is unfamiliar with the concept? Another Right-winger trying to defend his own stupidity instead of just admitting that he F'ed up. The Right's character always comes through no matter how they try to spin their own words or hide their own behavior. And you idiots defend this type of behavior. No wonder your party is failing so epically. :p Good luck with that. Rand Paul now has a plagiarism problem in 2016. I couldn't be happier for you guys.

Footnotes in a public speech? How does that work? The worst offense is a lame defense.

Even though BO copied speeches by Deval Patrick, the left let him skate....just sayin'

Joe, I would love to pop a cap in you each time you cut/paste some Liberal Shill's article on this site! ;)

If he couldn't copy the words/thoughts of another he wouldn't be able to participate here...that's all he's got.

Odd comment considering there is no cut-n-paste in this thread. Whatever?

Anyway, now it has come out that Rand plagiarized entire pages in his book and more examples of the things he has plagiarized are coming out daily. I think 2016 is out of reach at this point. Sorry whacked Libertarians, Aqua Buddha has left the building.

Did I say "this post"? ...I think I said "this site".

Go ahead and create any "facts" you need to support you ridiculous positions.

    one = you?

I don't defend plagiarism by anyone (Rand Paul or You). However, Wikipedia is an open source, all source store of knowledge. In other words, it's not the copyrighted works of any single individual and free to duplicate. In other words..."Not Plagiarism".

Assuming what you say is true, do you have knowledge of him copying from any other source? ...or are you simply reverberating Liberal talking points (as usual)?

"Joe Biden was accused of lifting not only basic info but the entire life story of British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock. Biden would repurpose Kinnock's speeches without bothering to replace Kinnock's life details with his own — it got so bad that the Biden campaign tried to invent a coal-mining uncle to match Kinnock's. Paul's plagiarism, as The Washington Post's Aaron Blake notes, is not on that level."

In the spirit of full disclosure, I lifter this from MSN News.

So? Just pointing out your hypocrisy. Biden assumed another's identity & BO copied another's speeches but these aren't big deals to the Ozombies; yet let Paul copy a movie's plot from Wikipedia and the far left goes nuts. Typical of you & your ilk.

Isn't it just as easy to say that while the Right went nuts over Biden in 1988 and while Obama was accused of plagiarism, Patrick's speech was dissimilar enough to not be considered an actual case of plagiarism, the Right seems absolutely fine with the multiple cases of Rand Paul's plagiarism? So pointing out hypocrisy seems to fall on your shoulders much more than mine. But you have always had problems actually seeing your own hypocrisy. Where is your condemnation of Paul? Now THAT is hypocrisy.

The website www.youtube.com has a video showing the similarities of the two speeches, and both campaigns, Obama's and U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton's, D-N.Y., have responded to the accusations of plagiarism.

Obama's speech Saturday sounded similar to a speech given by Patrick in his 2006 campaign for governor, according to the video.

"Don't tell me words don't matter! 'I have a dream.' Just words. 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.' Just words. 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself.' Just words, just speeches," Obama said in his speech.

Patrick used many of the same phrases in his speech.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal'-just words. Just words. 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself'-just words. 'Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country'-just words. 'I have a dream'-just words," Patrick said in 2006.

Patrick said in a statement he and Obama are friends, and said the allegations were just attacks by Clinton. Patrick announced his endorsement Obama in October 2007.

Where is your condemnation of BO & Biden (I noticed you didn't address Biden's "story" in your reply)?

Biden admitted to his plagiarism and dropped out of the presidential race 25 years ago. Would you like me to retro-condemn him? Whatever!
Paul on the other hand has been found to have plagiarized several times in articles, speeches, and his book so far. What was his response? He wishes he could duel the people accusing him of exactly what he actually did and he blames his own staff and his inability to handle the responsibilities of being a busy senator. Thank God he'll never be president. There is just something wrong with Tea Party pukes and you can't even condemn his behavior when it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be true. What a Tea Party lackey moron you come off as. Your hypocrisy is just icing.
