You're such a repuke. 1) To aid in the implementation of the law. 2) Repukes are blocking the law. 3) It's not a bill, it's a law. Learn the difference moron
So how about manning up & let us know if you believe whether or not private gun ownership should be banned in the US?
If that's the alternative to being a dimocrap, I'll take it. And just so we're clear, though, on your defense of BO's lying...it's Bush's fault, the Republicans are blocking BO's agenda & BO's black. Does that about sum up your defense? By the way: So how about manning up & let us know if you believe whether or not private gun ownership should be banned in the US?
So the Constitution breaks a law into two (2) parts; the "passage" of the law and the "funding" of the law. Just because a law passes doesn't mean it has to be funded...just as it doesn't have to be enforced (Executive Branch). It's called "Checks & Balances" (duh!)
Here is the latest report - 93+ million will lose their present insurance. And, no, I did not mis a decimal point. http://news.yahoo.com/obama-officials-2010-93-million-033300620.html
Obamacare as a rational, viable program was a non-starter from the beginning. Its value was in its potential to kick the supports out from under the whole rotten system that it was supposed to shore up. So far things seem to be moving in that direction. Be interesting to see what rises from the ruins.
The benefit of that will be that Obamacare will continue to annoy the hell out of you and keep you fixated on it. The gift that keeps on giving.
Even the admitted liar, former prez Bubba Clinton, is telling the lying, current prez to make good on his promise. View attachment 2115
View attachment 2116 House Democrats delivered a fix-it-or-else ultimatum Wednesday to President Obama, giving his administration until Friday to find an affordable solution for the millions of Americans losing their health plans under ObamaCare -- as House Republicans prepare to vote on a solution of their own. The ultimatum from President Obama's own party is another sign of the unrest within the Democratic caucus about the cancellation notices. The end-of-the-week deadline is significant, because House Republicans are planning to call a vote Friday on a bill that would extend current policies for another year. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...atum-fix-health-plan-cancellations-by-friday/
Well, I'll have to speak for JoeNation since he incapable of acknowledging Democratic strategy... The Bill/Hillary tag-team is springing to life ahead of the 2016 election. Bill's criticism of Obama and Obamacare inoculates Hillary (pun intended) from Obamacare in 2016, without damaging her support for universal healthcare (she worked the healthcare issue during the Bill Clinton administration). Bill is positioning Hillary to be the perfect Democrat to "fix" any Republican criticisms of Obamacare. This is a former President's comment on a sitting President and perfectly shields Hillary from any criticism. Any Democrat that wants to protect Obamacare will have to support Hillary Clinton in 2016...Brilliant!!! Still, a Christie/Ryan ticket should give her a run for her money. I wonder who Hillary will pick for a running mate...Bill?
Still, there are plenty of Democrats that may not appreciate Bill Clinton throwing Obama under the bus. Then again...what can they do about it? ...brilliant!!!
I'm still waiting for the liberals here to tell us exactly how they feel about Obama lying to all of us.
Lying to the American people is getting Obama nowhere. In fact, it's hurting his poll numbers. He now has the lowest poll numbers of his presidency as more and more people are waking up to the fact that they've been lied to. Don't lie to the American people, Mr. President. It never does anyone any good (especially your lack of popularity which WILL have a direct impact on 2014 and 2016). View attachment 2118
Politics=Lies. So how do you take the politics out of government without kill a national past time. You don't. Too many people have bought into the bread and circus, painted their faces red or blue, and go off to the poles to vote. It doesn't matter. Memes can be addictive and should have a warning label. The true genius behind Rush Limbaugh, is that he's a sports radio talk show guy who change the subject to politics. Ever drive through Alabama and here some guy yammering on about the Crimson Tide. That's politics as we know it. Personal, I'm going to hang out with Takiji and watch the side show.
Takiji sits on the sidelines mostly because he can't present a cogent argument. However, you always present good, honest questions, observations and opinions so please stay in the game. Yes, politics is certainly a liar's game. But, with Obama, supposedly all that was going to "change". His was supposed to be the most transparent administration we've every known. He was supposed to give us "hope". He won the Nobel Peace Prize for some reason or another. Go figure. He bombed the hell out of Libya and wanted to do the same with Syria even though he hadn't exhausted every diplomatic tactic. Now, he's been caught lying about his signature health insurance reform. Yes, politics does equal lies. So, let's discuss......
Only a third of Americans approve of Obama's implementation of the new health care law, while 63 percent disapprove. Most don't think Obama deliberately misled the American public when he said those who liked their policies could keep them -- just 44 percent say it was an intentionally false claim. But 56 percent say that the cancellation of some existing policies represents a sign of mismanagement rather than a normal startup problem. An overwhelming majority think the requirement for all individuals to have health insurance should be delayed. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/19/obama-approval_n_4301696.html
