Republicans Calling Each Other Stupid Over Defunding Obamacare

This is getting funny. I hope it goes on for a long, long time. Knock yourselves out wing nuts.

 

Well I see they passed their little bill. Now we wait as the government shuts down. My question is, does anyone even care if it shuts down? I mean, who could tell the difference?

 

Veterans! They will get IOUs instead of paychecks.

 

From what I read....the entire government is funded......social security, military etcetc. Only Obamacare is not funded. A shutdown will be choice of the dems.......

 

That is the stupidest twist of logic that could only exist on the Right. So, if Democrats said were going to fund everything else except for the salaries of Republican congressman or the government will be shutdown, it would be the Republicans fault for shutting down the government? Do you guys even think about what you're being told anymore? It doesn't appear that you do from where I am sitting. Again, it doesn't matter what kind terrorist threat the Right levels, the legislation would not defund the law. It's the law, and is constitutionally guaranteed to be enforced. We all know the Democrats aren't going to give in to this threat because you never negotiate with terrorists or they simply demand more and more. Proof is right in the question I asked you already. Even though the deficit is falling faster and spending is lower than at any time since WWII, the Right is demanding more and more cuts to the poor, the elderly, vets, children's food programs, on and on...

You never did let me know why you aren't Obama's biggest cheerleader since he is doing more to curtail the national debt than any modern president. So you're admitting that you're nothing but a political hack I guess.

 

Opposition to defunding increases sharply when the issue of shutting down the government and defaulting is included. In that case, Americans oppose defunding 59 percent to 19 percent, with 18 percent of respondents unsure. The final 4 percent is a group of people who want to defund Obamacare, but become unsure when asked if they still hold that view if it means shutting down the government.
