Watching Senate in Session Hours: The Senate gallery is open to visitors whenever in session. The Senate gallery is typically open during scheduled recesses of one week or more, and visitors are admitted to the gallery from 9 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., Monday – Friday. The Senate gallery is closed on weekends and holidays (unless the Senate is in session), and during any recess or adjournment of less than one week. I think it should be legal to carry assault weapons, large ammo clips, or any other weapon that is currently legal into the Senate gallery. I'm glad you agree. Let's see if we can get Congress to pass this into law.
