George Zimmerman, is that you ? WASHINGTON (AP) — At least one person was injured in a shooting Monday morning at a building at the Washington Navy Yard, the U.S. Navy said, as authorities searched for an active shooter. But a defense official, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak during an active attack, said there were at least several injuries. The Navy said three shots were fired and that about 3,000 people work in the building. People inside the building were directed to shelter in place. Police and federal agents from multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene and streets in the area were closed. Naval Sea Systems Command is the largest of the Navy's five system commands and accounts for a quarter of the Navy's entire budget. It builds, buys and maintains the Navy's ships and submarines and their combat systems.
What is your fascination with George Zimmerman? He defended himself against a young man who attacked him and was found not guilty by a jury.
He seems to just love "defending himself" from unarmed teenagers and women. Such a brave man. Small dick syndrome is my guess.
Hey, Little Joe. Would you like to jump to conclusions about who committed THIS shooting like you did with the Boston Marathon bombing? Let's see, perhaps you can try to tie in today's date (Sept. 16) with something that happened in history in order for you to postulate a motive. Hmmmm.. OK, I've got one for you: The Mexican War of Independence started on this date in 1810. Maybe you can reason that the shooter has a Mexican ancestor. No? Alright, how about this one? The Mayflower departed England on this date in 1620. I bet you think the shooter is upset because those Englishmen came over here in order to escape religious persecution. Is that it? You're always trying to find some way to tie in religion with everything else. No? I think I've got! Franklin Roosevelt instituted the draft on Sept. 16, 1940. How that ties in with this shooter, we may never know. However, in your pea-brain you've probably already figured out the "reason".
Oh come on! This is no time to abandon your defense of Zimmerman. It's just getting good. You guys will defend anything this guy does. He is a loose cannon and will self-destruct one way or the other and I want to make sure that you guys keep defending him. Don't disappoint me.
This is a strange thread to bring up Zimmerman because the circumstances are completely different. But, to address the issue you brought up, who is defending Zimmerman? He doesn't need a defense. He was found not guilty, remember?
Wow.......all this from a guy who considers The Constitution as toilet paper and scolds others for speaking out before facts are known. But being a gun killing and not an abortion, he will pretend to care about human life to suit his agenda. On Zimmerman, as a landord I can advise you what to do with this man living in your head free of charge.......start charging him rent. When I have a new tenant, I always start them with a short lease to feel them out. If after 6 months they are a problem, I raise the rent substantially to " evict" them. If they are cool, I'll offer and extended lease with zero increase so that my mortgage gets paid and a small amount of positive cash flo that I need not worry about. Try it.
The tragedy here once again is of course guns. You can't have complete unfettered access to guns without arming the bad guys too. Thank you NRA!
Exactly!!!!! And YES thanks to pro gun rights groups just like them!!!! You see? It's simple. Bad guys will ALWAYS have guns because they are bad guys. Only a fool would want to disarm the good guys.
Wait, am I reading this right? Why hasn't Rlm or OKC blamed Obama for this shooting yet? What are you waiting for, it was obviously his fault. Obviously!!
I see. Wonder why he didn't try shooting up someplace in TX? Maybe he was afraid of armed resistance? Makes sense he would choose to go somewhere where the people are less likely to be armed, doesn't it? Thanks for helping make our point.
I remember hearing about a lot of shootings when I was a kid. The difference between then and now is the body-count. Back then, one or two people would be dead, today it's ten, fifteen. THAT's the difference. THAT's why we bitch about these murders. THAT's why we want smaller clips and less powerful weapons so easily available. THAT's too much for you. You'd rather have mass murders than sensible restrictions. Why? Because you fall for the media-blitz about "2nd Amendment Rights!" Where does this blitz come from? The gun and ammo manufacturers, the arms retailers. They've made huge profits by catering to your ignorant fears. And you call us cowards? When you fear EVERYthing? LOL ...You made me laugh. Idiots.
