We didn't give a damn about the Syrian Civil War until chemical weapons were used. That is when the current crisis began. All administrations have had it out for Assad. That has not changed in years. The point here which little Davy seems to want run from is that Obama never threatened military action to get rid of Assad. NEVER! You idiots simply tune into the idiot box called FOX and believe all stupidity you hear.

 

So Kerry was going to get Assad "to go" by asking him nicely? Pretty please with sugar and a cherry on top? What the hell do you think Kerry meant for us to do?

What Tweedledee and Tweedledum can't figure out on their own is that it is against the law to assassinate a foreign leader in this country. Even if an administration plans to do it, they certainly don't announce it.

No person employed by or acting on behalf of the United States Government shall engage in, or conspire to engage in, assassination.

 

Maybe I missed it, but just where did Kerry say "assassinate"? There are lots of "got-to-go"'s beside assassinations. But there are not many in Syria that do not involve force in some way, shape, or form. I would not pretend to know which methodology Kerry would prefer or was referring to.

Why don't you guys just admit for once in your stupid lives that Obama resolved this chemical weapons crisis without firing a shot? He brilliantly maneuvered Assad to give up his chemical weapons or face the threat of U.S. military action. I don't care what FOX tells you, this is by far the solution that Americans wanted not war. Now even Iran is beginning to come around thanks to this diplomatic maneuver. When will you hatred motivated clowns see reality for what it is instead of always giving into your deeply flawed ideology? Never is my guess.

We got Syria to sign the chemical weapons ban and agreed to put their chemical weapons under international control and they for the first time admitted having them. Here's the timeline.
Kerry offered up the idea of turning over the chemical weapons to the international community, then poo poos it saying it coule never happen and the Whitehouse throws Kerry under the bus saying he was off script and distanced Obama from Kerrys comments. Putin steps in like an adult, makes a deal happen and Obama and his minions try to take Putins credit.

Simple as that. Anything else is a deliberate lie.

 

Yes, this is the gullible man's version of events I agree. You think this was just dumb luck but this kind of thing does not happen that way. What exactly did Putin get out of this deal? What did we end up losing in this deal? You idiots can't see the forest for the trees. Obama admitted talking to Putin at the G8 about exactly this type of deal. Oh you poor misguided bastards. BO called for Assad's removal yet he's still in power. BO drew a "line in the sand" and it was crossed without consequence. BO called for military action in Syria and it was rejected. All of this occuring over the course of several years, as you admitted. Putin steps in & reaches a diplomatic solution over the course of a weekend. BO was made to look like a chump, an ineffective, weak little chump.
