In the same spirit Jack lightened up the "conversation", I give you a guessing game. Where in the world is Joe right now.

    Here is a clue:

I'll be the first to admit my comment was over the top and a very stupid thing to say. No excuse

Don't know what you're talking about Jack and GE...VERY good! That wasn't much of a clue and you narrowed it down very well. Gettysburg is correct. Spent the whole day touring the museum and battlefields with the kids. Very impressive place. A must visit. :)

By coincidence, I was reading a story earlier today about Pickett's Charge and also an article about the re-enactment last month of the Battle of Gettysburg. Very fascinating. I haven't visited Gettysburg yet, but it's on my list! I'm jealous... ;)

Pickett's charge was probably Lee's biggest blunder. Longstreet told him that charging the center of the Union lines would fail but in reality it could have gone either way at the time. The confederate army actually breeched the middle of the Union line briefly and then they were pushed back by reinforcements. It was a good gamble that would have changed the course of the battle if it had succeeded.

It USED to be a very interesting place. Took my kid there back in the 80's, and it went totally commercial. It was much better before that.

Everyone is being uncharacteristically civil. Even "nice" might not be too much of a stretch. I'm getting out of here before I start seeing beings like Coin and rlm as human. Someone pm me when things have gotten back to normal.

I've driven through Gettysburg many times but never had the time to stop and look around.

Definitey worth a look around. If you ever do go again, hire one of the docents to ride along with you. They add so much to the experience.

Christ Church, PA. That stone would look better with Franklin Halves on it instead of Lincoln Cents. :)

Philadelphia. But I think okc was technically correct as Christ church is the burial ground.

While old Ben and Deb may indeed be resting comfortably in good old Philly, they are but a clue to Joe's real interest. Through the iron gate and across the street they keep watch over...?????
