Amen. Unfortunately, what you've posted flies in the face of the far left's narrative.

Thanks a funny narrative coming from someone in a "taker" state. Like most southern states, they take more from the federal government than they pay in but tell us again about personal responsibility welfare state boy.

Gee! Ya think so? He asked for one and I gave him 10,000. Maybe he could not process that many.
BTW, welcome to the club. I live in one of his "taker" states also. It seems no one else in the country has the expertise, initiative, etc. to run an air force base as cheaply/efficiently as we run Tinker. It is sort of like the free market economy in action working like it should. I take his attempt at an insult as a complement.

Yeah, and did you catch his double-talk? In the other thread he challenged the assertion of whether "taker states" really existed, yet here he cites it as fact. What's up with that?
...and I believe he actually advanced my point (& that of Guy's)!

Ahhhh yes, the "poor" is a state of mind line. Tell that to someone who is too old or disabled, physically or mentally, to work. Tell that to those who work 40 + hour weeks and still don't have enough money to cover their living expenses.

Only a fool believes that their own experiences are the same as everyone else's. The republican party is full of fools.

The thing is, a lot of republicans will find themselves in financial trouble too, at some point later in life, even if they think they have a handle on things, and when they fail, they don't blame themselves for not working hard enough, noooooo, they blame their misfortune, yet they can't seem to grasp that other people also have misfortune themselves, noooooo their misfortune is because they're too lazy to work hard.

republicans stating an opinion is a pointless exercise when they don't know what they're talking about, which is almost always.

Empathy was never a strong factor in a republican's make-up, but complaining about the poor is a common pastime for people who are supposedly "hard workers".

Oh, but Guy & I are saying the same thing and, last I heard, he wasn't identifying as a Republican.

Are the ills of the universe cause by the Republican or just those of this world? And one that has been proven - When you say "Empathy was never a strong factor in a republican's make-up", that has got to put the liberals in the hole. It has been prove and shown here many times that it is the conservatives who donate the more than the liberals.

Well, you know what they say...."Conservatives are good at giving their money, Liberals are good at giving other people's money"

That's what Democrats always do...they wheel out a few examples of folks that really need help, then extrapolate that "truth" out to every deadbeat in the country.

Chris Rock does a good job illustrating different "States of Mind" in the African-American community. However, the disease of Liberalism doesn't just affect one race...it's a cancer that eats away at ALL races.

Talking to a right-wing republican is like talking to a cat, both want everything done their way, and both get pissed when it doesn't happen.

I mean, what's the point? They're just going to stink up the place with their useless chit anyway.

What's the point? Any response a Democrat gives here, no matter how honest and relevant is ignored by republicans anyway. There's no point in stating a point if republicans are just going to ignore the point and make more idiotic claims. All that you republicans do here is rely on ignorance, you can't argue worth chit, you just bellow bs all day and night and refuse to behave like adults.

Whether you understand it or not, this site is set-up as a quarantine, to keep the antagonists away from other sites. The antagonists being ignorant republicans spewing their bs and corrupting otherwise peaceful forums with nonsense arguments, the rantings of old white men, that have no idea how to relate to other people in a peaceful manner.

You're in a cage, and you stay here because you don't have the personality skills to behave peacefully in other forums. You can't leave, because you think you're doing well here...you're not lol....you're just a dodo in a cage, spewing useless chit around and thinking it's something more than what it actually is: the ignorant rantings of old white republican men.

I'm just here to rattle your cage, old man.

    Polly want a cracker?

Liberals in this forum claim to have the ideas and changes needed to restore the economy and provide Constitutionally mandated services to the people, but all I've heard so far are insults and worn out talking points.

    Conservatives recommend...

    1. Expand the tax base by stopping taxation on productivity and tax consumption (repeal the 16th Amendment).

    2. Restrict the Federal government to just those duties as outlined in the Constitution and return all other services to the States where they belong and where the funding can be more efficiently administered.

Those are examples of concrete, productive recommendations that don't rely on an ever expanding tax burden on a shrinking tax base. If Liberals can come up with similar, productive recommendations, I'm listening.

I'm watching CSPAN right now and regularly hear good ideas from "conservative" Democrats. However, the Democratic party has been hijacked by Liberals and they're simply out of control.

You're right...I just pop over from time to time when there are no interesting posts on CT. I'm politically active in the real world...where it counts. That's far more challenging than coming here to slap your ears back.

I don't see much difference in the two big box political parties. Both support QE squared, both have extended the Bush tax cuts in one form or another, and Gitmo is still up and running along with the war on civil liberties. As far as a declining lower, middle, upper-middle and everyone except rich class goes...........
The Bush tax cuts are working; Money is being invested that would have otherwise gone to taxes and as a result factories are being built, a growing middle class is spring up, cities are popping up around new industrial centers. The only thing missing in this sound bite are the last two words "in China".

I agree...I'm a Ross Perot, Tea Party Conservative. I dislike the Democratic party more because they have been hijacked by Progressives (aka. Communists). We need to stop subsidizing the "New World Order" and bring jobs back to America.

    Repeal the 16th Amendment!
