Billions to homeowners who defaulted anyway, billions to auto makers who bankrupted anyway, billions to green energy companies who failed anyway. billions to foreign countries who hate us anyway, billions to his largest campaign donors...and I'm sure there are plenty more I haven't listed!

I'm starting to think that if we could re-coup the money BO pissed away we would be in pretty good shape right now!

 

Afghanistan and Iraq cost us over a trillion...and counting.

Not once we the tax payers handed them 700 billion dollars. Let the free market roooooooolllll!

But 800 million to help struggling home owners is a bridge too far for little Davy boy. They always complain about the small amounts but ignore that large amounts. I tend to just tune them out.

They all waste money after all it is not there money is it LOL From the top down to local level if you take the time (and I dont care what party they belong to) you will find funds been wasted in one way or another.

 

People misterm "waste" when it doesn't effect them. Or when they assume it doesn't. Its a parroting cry carried over from the brain wasting mechanism of political brainwashing.

 

Agreed...to a point. I consider spending "waste" when it goes directly into money-hoarders pockets.

An example of that is giving a million dollars to a billionaire. It's likely he/she'll just keep it in a bank account. But then again, he/she may spend it on a shiny new steering wheel for his/her yacht, meaning that money may actually make it into the economy.

Nah, give the million to the poor and that money's in the economy instantly, because they don't hoard $$$, they can't afford to.

 

We've been doing that for 60 years but the problem hasn't disappeared. Do you have a Plan B?

 

Had they given taxpayers a trillion dollar tax break instead of giving banks a trillion dollar dollar tax -bought handout, I wouldn't complain. That would inject money into the economy almost immediately.

 

Or we could go with Plan B: Tie a piece of fishing line to a dollar bill and troll it past as many republicans as you can. Once a sufficiently large enough line of republicans is after the loot, reel the dollar bill into the ocean. It'll save tons of $$$ and as a bonus we'd also hear less whining.
