And your need to post Snopes again was because? Oh! I got it. It is the only thing you can find wrong! They used the word "welfare" in stead of "takers" like Forbes used.

BTW, I have really noticed how you have made no comments on the medical stats.

BTW, I have really noticed how you have made no comments on Obama's cabinet.

BTW,I have really noticed how you have made no comments on Forbes article YOU referenced in regards to their forecasts.

BTW,I have really noticed how you have made no comments on Forbes article YOU referenced in regards to Illinois comments.

Apparently you didn't bother to read the Snopes criticism because if you had you'd find that the fake Facebook article changed a lot more than that. If you're too damn dumb to know a fake when you see it, why should anyone care what you think about the rest of the nonsense?

The list below is incomplete, but...

    Biden: Attorney
Kerry: Attorney, co-founder of law firm.
    Lew: Attorney
Hagel: Newscaster/talk show host, cell-phone provider co-founder. president of banking firm. chairman of electronic voting machine company.
    Holder: Attorney
Jewel: Oil company, banking, president and CEO of retail outlet
    Vilsack: Attorney
Pritsker: Founder of PSP Capital Partners and Pritzker Realty Group, co-founder of Artemis Real Estate Partners, founded Classic Residence by Hyatt, chairman of Superior Bank, cofounder of the Parking Spot, founder of PSP Capital Partners
Perez: Trash collector, worked in a dining hall, law clerk, attorney
    Foxx: Attorney
Moniz: Faculty at MIT, founding member of The Cyprus Institute

Duncan: Tutor/mentor, basketball player, director of the Ariel Education Initiative (mentor)
    Shinseki: Director for several corporations
Napolitano: Law clerk, partner in law firm

    Cabinet-ranked positions:

    McDonough: teacher
Burwell: Associate at McKinsey & Company, Director of insurance companies
Froman: Managing Director at Citigroup, President and CEO of CitiInsurance
    Rice: Consultant
    Krueger: Writer, researcher
Mills: Managed several small manufacturing firms, investor, president of the private equity firm MMP Group, founding partner and managing director of Solera Capital

Attorneys are workers, just as doctors are, and teachers, etc., but I tried to keep any government position out of this list. It's woefully incomplete though, as some biographies skip early career jobs and focus solely on aspects that led to the current position. A lot of these people are born-rich, or fell into wealth early on. As such, they typically worked on boards as members or chairpersons.

That is $400 to $532 a month for a family of 4. Our family of 4 averages about $600 a month in groceries and while we don't have steak every night, we do not eat a lot of junk food either. Like tonight: meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. Nothing fancy but it isn't pizza rolls, chips and soda either.

Exactly: What people need to survive. BUT, take that away, as many many republican lawmakers are attempting to do, then you see a different outcome.

One other thing though: My area has food prices that differ from other areas. It's not the cheapest around, as a lot of the food needs to be shipped in, but what costs me $5 may cost someone else $20, especially in large cities. Bear that in mind.

Certainly leads me to believe the methodology utilized in computing the statistics in the OP was created with a purposeful bias aimed at producing a pre-determined result.

So your food cost is 25% of what the rest of us pay and you still expect the gov't to provide you with what you need to "survive"?

That is a distinct possibility especially considering the source. However, just looking at his current cabinet, there are only 3 with private business experience. That makes 20%. That still leaves him in last place on that list - and still by a significant margin (Carter being his closest competition at 32%).

That's politics. That's why I hate politics lol

Ruliing "attorneys" out, there's still a dozen of the cabinet members I found who had had non-government jobs prior to or after college, and most of those had high-ranking positions in various industries, banking and insurance being two of the more common ones. Taking non-profits/organizations/teachers out, there's still about ten.

In other words: The OP is misleading to the point of being a lie.

It goes back to the old saying: "Don't believe everything you see, or hear."

For me personally, I'd prefer academics in Cabinet positions, people who study the industries and are less biased than members of industry, who stand to profit from the advice they give to Presidents.

Some of those types, the business-side, are even brazen enough to think they can push Presidents around, as in Donald Regan, former Secretary of the Treasury, instructing President Reagan to "Speed it up" during a speech. In other words: Regan believed he was more powerful than the President.

Regardless of the facts, the faked facebook article, or reality itself, it is what little Dicky rimmer wants to believe so we might as well just let him have it.

Doesn't this sound stupid? You would want folks who have only "studied" how something is supposed to be making decisions instead of people who have actually done something? Those who live in a vacuum (and I can think of one example here) have ZERO idea how the real world operates. Like a college professor once told me...Academics study what's supposed to happen when rubber hits the road, in the real world we see what happens when that rubber actually hits the road.

Maybe it is just your opinion of academics that is stupid? You actually have no experience to base your statements on while at the same time we see loads of people with "actual business experience" in the news bilking investors, breaking the law, going to jail, cheating Medicare, paying huge fines, involved in bribing scandals overseas, hiding money in off-shore accounts, ... But somehow all that is excusable? Hum.

Or maybe if you're staffing a cabinet you avoid hiring the bad guys & just hire the good guys? Maybe?
