Liz Cheney to Challenge Senator Michael Enzi of Wyoming By JONATHAN MARTIN Published: July 16, 2013 WASHINGTON — Liz Cheney, the older daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, announced Tuesday that she intended to challenge Senator Michael B. Enzi of Wyoming in a Republican primary clash in next year that national and state party officials had hoped to avoid. “I am running because I believe it is necessary for a new generation of leaders to step up to the plate,” Ms. Cheney, 46, said in a video posted on the Web.
Following in her dad's footsteps, huh? You know, pretend you live in a state so you can run for office. Her friends must be nervous. I bet they'd freak the hell out if she asked them to go hunting with her. Kinda funny though. A guy shoots another guy in the freaking face and leaves the scene, never gets questioned about it, never gets charges brought against him for negligence or assault. Must be nice being a Dick.
I like what Mike Enzi said about Liz Cheney running against him. He said that he thought that they were friends. "Friends! with a Cheney?" The last friend they had got shot in the face.
Hillary running in New York was just as bad as Dick and daughter running in "their" state. So much for that hypocrisy claim.
