Well, since the Democrats switched their stance by nearly 100% when the politics switched while less than 1/3 of the Republicans switched their stance. Yes, I find that little tidbit interesting.

They may get him for disclosing sensitive information. But, as far as being a whistleblower, I don't see how. Have we already forgotten after only a decade that the Government watches phone records and email records? That started (as far as we know anyways) with the Patriot Act. He didn't reveal anything new, other than they were still doing so. Maybe we've become a nation with such a short attention span we forgot. Give it another week and we'll forget again...no harm, no foul, none the wiser.

Democrats 2006 37%view surveillance as acceptable. 2013 64%view surveillance as acceptable. That is a change of 27% (64% - 37% = 27%). There are 42M Democrats in the USA. 27% of 42M = 11.3M (that is the same as 11,300,000 in case you missed it). If you do the same math for the Republicans, you get 6.9M. Now, make yourself proud and try to understand those numbers.
