I don't watch MSNBC, nor CNN just for that reason. I'm not saying Fox is completely biased. I'm just saying they're full of crap. They don't fact check news. They make up stories to incite anger and fear. And they employee brainless blowhards that even Fox viewers have started to shun as of late. No, I get my news from overseas, as thats about the only way to get a clear picture of what is really happening here without forcing agendas like US news agencies do.

Where did you get your news that Arpaio was a murderer?

From the most conservative newspaper in the most conservative state in the US. You saw it, why do you ask?

It sounds like you misinterpreted what they had to say. I'd like to see the article.

There have been lots of examples of MSNBC/NBC creating stories here (Trayvon Martin 911 tape comes to mind quickly). More importantly that does not count stories omitted from coverage. MSNBC etc. are great at that. I do not seem to remember one about FOX. BTW, just what makes you think overseas news is not just as partial as MSNBC?

Yes, coin, just like Fox says Obama is Muslim and Rush is a genius. Guess you got me. Never could beat an Okie in a debate about nothing. Gosh dang!

Now there is a pipe dream if I ever heard one! Really! You think the foreign socialist governments don't have an agenda? And I have some nice land for you in Florida.

Not a debate; just a discussion. Carry on and keep believing what the overseas news tells you. :)

What does socialism (which nobody here even seems to know the definition of) have to do with having an agenda in foreign news? If thats the case, what news do YOU trust? There wouldn't be any real news anywhere. Is it a worldwide conspiracy to thwart US right wing progress, or are you just not able to concede there might be places that report without following script? Fill me in here instead of regressing this discussion.

You are still attempting to take him seriously? You've been here long enough to know better... haven't you?

Why is "overseas" journalism any less reliable than U.S. jounalism? Is it somehow tainted just because it isn't U.S. jounalism? I can't quite figure out your objection. You seem to trust FOX implicitly and yet it is owned by a foreigner. Hum? Also, some Saudi prince owns a big chunk of FOX so where exactly is your line between foreign journalism and U.S. journalism drawn? All good questions. You should really man-up and address one.

If you could explain that, it would go a long way to fixing a lot of problems in both the US and the world.

FOX seems about as reliable as Pravda, if we are looking for some common ground.

And I thought you rally had enough sense to tell the difference. The last I heard, we have freedom of the press unless Holder has taken that away. Who runs the BBC? TASS? And, just for kicks, how many research reporters does Nordstjernan (let alone in America) or do you think they just get there news from NBC et al?

For all practical purposes on this board, Socialism is a) a political or social position that CoinOKC perceives as being to the left of whatever position he happens to be taking at any given moment or, b) any position that Obama supports, is alleged to support, or might support in the future or maybe supported once upon a time. This would include positions that Republicans have supported in the past but stopped supporting as soon as Obama signed on to them because at that instant said positions magically became Socialistic. Kind of like when that little bell rings at mass.
