The biggest scandal here is the one where republicans continue to make a mockery of the tragic events in Benghazi on 9-11-12.

 

Rand Paul will never get the chance to fire anybody.

The last time I checked, Rand Paul was on the opposite side from Teddy. Teddy could not possibly agree with him.

 

Not one dot was connected today. Nothing else was learned and none of the multitude of Right-wing conspiracy theories was even lent the smallest amount of credibility. Hillary simply tore the Republican witch hunters a large new one. FOX supplied innuendo withered under the bright light of public discourse at the more than capable hands of Sec. Clinton. It was fun to watch and I suspect that it was the last hurrah for this crazy far right wing nut conspiracy theory nonsense. It really is too bad these hearings have to end. They clearly backfired on the wing nuts and it would be so much fun see them continue to shoot themselves in the foot time after time.

 

I'll take your partisan diatribe as a disagreement with Rand Paul. Hillary has taken responsibility for the deaths of four Americans and you still spin it as a political conspiracy. Poor Hillary got flustered today in the hot seat as well she should being in the position she's in. Unless she's a cold, heartless bitch she should feel some remorse for not doing her job and helping those defenseless Americans. I don't believe she has it in her, though.

Let me get this straight. They have admitted lying about the film. They have now manufactured 5 different stories as to where (and why?) the lies came from. They are obviously trying to cover up something. Just what, I have no idea. And you are trying to sweep it under the carpet and justify it. Keep trying, but it will not float with me.

 

I just hope these crazy Right-wingers like Paul and McCain keep taking their talking points from FOX like the Right-wingers here do. Since FOX literally just makes it up as it goes along, these Right-wingers will sooner than later colapse under the weight of the manufactured lies they have bought into. I couldn't ask for more.

 

No I wouldnt unless you can show that she was directly responsible for preventing any action that might have stopped the attack.
If you say yes then you have to remember that ultimatlly the Buck stops with the President and using such a argument means that President Bush should have been removed from office after September the 11th for not preventing it

 

My favorite part of the hearing was when Clinton listed the embassy attacks that have happened again and again with different degrees of severity over the years with next to no scrutiny but because FOX decided that there were all these weird conspiracies from Obama watch the whole attack unfold live and refusing to act to Obama calling off people sent in to stop the attack. All proven false by investigations but we still have the idiots believing FOX rather than the people that have never proven to be lying about anything. Even as the administration fully admitted that there were various initial accounts of the events as happens in every one of these situations, the whackos on the Right choose to believe that constitutes lying. What a bunch of nuts. Hillary is going to kill them in 2016.

 

Like Rand Paul said,

"I would think by anybody's estimation, Libya has to have been one of the hottest of hot spots around the world. Not to know of the request for securities really I think cost these people their lives." Their lives could have been saved had someone been more available, had someone been aware of these things, more on top of the job." ​

Unfortunately for our dead Americans in Benghazi, Hillary was not "on top of the job".​

 

Rand Paul's hindsight is 20-20. In other words, he spent 20 minutes talking out of his ass and another 20 minutes with his head firmly planted in his ass.

Oh! But I learned loud and clear that that is not how they work any more. All Obama did was to accuse Romney of one thing after another while the press convicted Romney despite proof to the contrary. Too bad most of the press is not on Mr. Paul's side.
